I have no problem with dandelions in my orchard, but those on my front lawn I dig up and feed to the chickens. They love them. In return they give me wonderful eggs. And yes, I too am a dandelion, definitely not an exotic orchid and to me they signal the coming of spring, and sunshine once again.

The name comes from the french, so my mother always tells me...meaning teeth of a lion. So us humble folk can also roar. I also love them for illustrating/painting because of their milky moon seed heads. So happy to have discovered your oasis of calm here on youtube. 😊

Hi Dee. Love your videos. Lately I’ve been needing a friend and I would love your advice on this.
There’s this guy I really like and the other day I made plans with his sister to go to the movies, and I told her that he could come along if he liked. and he came did. He drove us there as well. He is quiet and serious but he was sooo outgoing and loud, and just joking around and just laughing. He laughed at everything I said and listen to everything I had to say. He said my name multiple times in the middle of the conversation. After the movies i told them that if they wanted, we could go eat, and they agreed and that it would be on me. When we finished dinner he pulled the card out to pay and insisted in at least paying half. He also indirectly talked about future hangouts. Afterwards he asked if we should go somewhere else and get dessert and we did. I honestly had such a great time. And at that moment I for sure felt like he did like me. But then, I start overthinking everything and doubting. I always reach the conclusion that he doesn’t like me. A couple of days later we had invited him and his family for dinner, his sister couldn’t make it but he came with his parents.
He works in a building really close to where I work, and he always comes to my plaza and parks close to my car for lunch. The day after the dinner I was in my car for lunch and all of the sudden I see him walking up to my car. He waved and called my name. I lowered and car window and he started talking about something that my mother had asked him yesterday at dinner, something that she needed fixed. So he told me about a place that we should call that can help us with that. At that moment I was so sure that he like me because it was so out of the blue, something that he should’ve had his mother tell mine. But again I start doubting everything. I really don’t want to look like a fool and think he likes me when he is just being friendly. Sorry guys for the longgggg comment😭😭
Awkward. Could you assume he is just being friendly - maybe because you know his sister, and obviously the families know each other - and play it by ear from there? I feel better that way than assuming more and having to back pedal. D
If you don't mind me commenting after reading your post. I think he likes you. I don't know if you are older like myself but my husband I married in our older years and he did the same thing to me. I continued to stay friends with him and I started falling in love. I asked some older men in my family if this man would ever ask me out on a date and they told me it would take a very long time and said I most likely would be the one to have to do it. After 2 months I came right out with it. I told him on the phone I felt like I was falling in love with him. He was so happy I told him and he said the same thing was happening to him. I decided to tell him when I felt I could handle rejection, but if I continued on this friendship path, it would be most painful if he never would become more than a friend. I was protecting myself. Good luck, I think he likes you more than a friend though and do what you think is right for yourself! 👍🌼
@@ramonaritz7815 thank you. I think that’s what is it. At first I’m convinced that he does but later I analyze things and end up concluding that he doesn’t. I guess like you said protecting myself. I rather think the worst sometimes just in case, so the truth won’t hurt me as much. And I’m 22 and he is 26.
@Acornsme45 OH you are very young. The chances he will make the first move is a lot greater than my husband. He was 53 when we met and his wife had passed away. He was with her 33 years and was very shy about dating as you can imagine. Just try to keep telling yourself you are just friends with him and take this time to get to know each other. If you start falling in love with him then you'll have to tell him and see where your relationship stands. You don't want to have a big heartbreak over him and he'll understand that if you tell him this is why you are revealing your feelings. He will have respect for you. Good luck!

Something I came across when working for a very iconic company (Australian) for 10 years, where I met many people from all walks of life, that the very rich and the ‘average ‘ people - the Dandelions - were easy to get along with. The majority of both were polite, patient and friendly, but the one’s in-between (upper middle class in English terms?) we’re often rude , demanding, expectant and pushy.
Some of us are just blades of grass in the garden of life, and we often get mowed down.
Not complaining, just saying. We Dandelions are beautiful and worthy. ❤️🏡🐱💐🌼 😊

I love them. They're called wet-the-bed bc they're a diuretic....and other medicinal properties. My tortoise loves to eat them. And they're so useful to early pollenators. All hail Mr Dandelion! ❤

I have been eating dandelions for a few yrs now. VERY medicinal! I for one STAY AWAY from drs. I was having problems with my digestive system and that wonderful weed healed me in no time. When I am in my garden, and I have to pull one, I keep and dry the roots for coffee. THANK YOU DEE!

Oh my, I knew this already about dandelions. I just Hadden thought about it in the concept of us older folk. But yes, we are, and I'm proud to say... I'm a dandelion as well. My hope is that the younger generation can observe the forest through the trees in a world where communications could or possibly collapse. Where else would they find knowledge then eeh.
