I studied film and I read The Hero's Journey. It was fascinating to learn that all mythology, all classic literature, even the Bible - follow this 3 act structure with these 12 basic phases. I learned that Campbell was influenced by Jung, and then reading Jung, I stumbled upon his interpretation of Surah al-Kahf. That made me go into Islam again (I used to be Sunni, then I left the religion and became atheist). Reading the Qur'an, I always wondered why although it is a fascinating book, it doesn't have the structure of a normal book - so there's two possibilities; either it is poorly written, either it has a secret structure no one is noticing. The fact that the Qur'an is the only book memorized by millions, that it has been preserved for generations, that it presents this primordial monotheism where you are invited know God by reading his Signs in the Book, in Nature and within yourself and that it is universalist in its approach to salvation - made me reconsider my relationship to this religion. Step by step I learned that what made me go away from Islam wasn't the Qur'an, it was the hadith, the words of the scholars, the violent history, the political aspect of it etc. I had nothing against the Qur'an except for some words and verses which had been and continue to be mistranslated or misinterpreted (i.e I never knew that the root word of Kafir means to hide/conceal and that Kufr isn't about not believing in the existence of a creator deity, its about deliberate ingratitude and deliberate concealment of the truth).
I found out about the symmetrical structure of the Qur'an after watching a video about Ayat al Kursi. Then I started to investigate if this phenomena happens in other verses and Surahs - to my surprise, I found out that this ring composition is in every Surah - there's even Surah pairs which mirror each-other in meaning.
Although I read countless times proof that the Qur'an is divine, I still had moments when I would question the veracity of it, the existence of God etc. Then I understood why the Qur'an is so harsh against people who commit Kufr - it was talking about people like me - who after having enough proof for the divine origin of the Qur'an, still went into desperation, concealed their hearts and even denied. So I realized the Qur'an is a psychological miracle. No man in the 7th century, or even today, could compile such a magnificent life-changing system inside a relatively short book, using a poetic language which shakes the hearts of whoever listens/reads.

@@DarioHaruni Peace. The Quran is not only a psychological miracle, it's also a mathematical miracle. Look into Code 19; the appendices by Dr Rashad Khalifa. Btw, do not repeat the same mistake of sunnism 1400 years ago and make this a Quran besides God's Quran, this only an educated study of the Quran. God bless.

There is a beginning middle and end. I testifies to that, but you need to see the paragraphs in Quran.
In surah AlBaqarah, it is layered with The Covenant, actually it IS layered for those who do not study the surah. If you study it, DEFINITElY it is The Covenant.
All agreement must be signed at the END, not the middle or beginning of the agreement. So AlBaqarah had four (4) middle ayah that specifically mentioned about Qiblah. 1 Qiblah mentioned in each of the first 3 ayat, and 3 word of qiblah mentione in the one ayah (forth).
Yes maybe its fractal.. but it has a beginning, middle and end. This is the structure God put in The Quran.
Its a book from God and it is THE BOOK. It has clear structure. Like all tree it has foundations. Some plants may creep but all of them have a beginning and special designed.

Allah comes 2699 times in the Quran
Correction; the number of Ayat in the Qur'an = 6,236 not 6,346 according to the Hafs edition. This is the problem with the number 19 theory which is only partially correct. We know the Hafs edition with its 6,236 verses is definitely correct because:
(1) The Qur'an is the product of Mutawatir - multiple chains of narration numbering in the hundreds and thousands - memorisation thus ensuring its preservation.
(2) Calculating the product of adding each Surah number with the number of its Ayat gives 57 odd and 57 even combinations. By adding the 57 even combinations together the total amounts to 6,236 whereas the sum of the odd combinations equals 6,555 equals the sum of the sequence of the total number of Surahs 1 thru' 114. This now constitutes a strong mathematical verification for the popular Hafs edition of the Qur'an with its particular Ayah numbering system.
This was not an error. There are 6,234 numbered verses in the Quran and 112 unnumbered verses (Bismillahs). This is supported by the mathematical structure of the Quran based on the number 19.
6234 + 112 = 6346 = 19 x 334
Also 6 + 3 + 4 + 6 = 19

The reason you are counting 6,236 verses is because (1) you are not including the 112 unnumbered verses and (2) you are counting two false verses that were included at the end of Sura 9 (verses 128 & 129). More information regarding this can be found here:

I am sure that this information has come as a shock to you. It was the same for me when I first heard it as well. There are a couple points I would like to make.
Today you can find numerous examples of manuscripts of the Quran that have different spellings for various words. Or manuscripts with different Sura titles even among Hafs edition. While the process of Mutawatir does serve a purpose for preserving the Quran, it is not definitive for the reasons listed above. In addition, please understand the even according to the history of the Quran's compilation these two verses were suspect, as these two verses were the only verses that did not have a minimum of two witnesses before being compiled in the Quran. That they are two of the last verses of the Quranic revelations and are placed after the verse which states:
[9:127] Whenever a sura was revealed, some of them would look at each other as if to say: "Does anyone see you?" Then they left. Thus, GOD has diverted their hearts, for they are people who do not comprehend.
Today if I send you a message and you want to authenticate that (1) every letter, word, verse, was sent by me without any alteration and (2) you want to validate that I am the actual sender of the message we use a procedure known as encryption. Such that, if any letter, word, phrase was altered it would be easily detectable. This is the mechanism that which God preserved the Quran. The mathematical structure of the Quran validates any change in the Quran such that we have 100% certainty that the message we have today is the unaltered message that was sent 1400 years ago to Muhammad. This key to preserving the Quran is the number 19, which is called out by God in Sura 74 entitled Al-Mudathir which would be translated as "Hidden Secret" or in modern terms "Encryption".

That said, the argument about the even and the odds as you mentioned still holds with the removal of 9:128 and 9:129, as there are still 57 even combinations and 57 odd combinations. But this isn't all that impressive, because this is simply a mathematical property. I'll try to explain, the probability of any number being even or odd is 50%. So if you have 114 numbers you would expect that 57 of them would be even and 57 of them would be odd. The mathematically interesting part is the products, but even with the removal of 9:128 and 9:129, the product of the 57 odd combinations amounts to 6,555 which happens to equal the product of the sequence 1 to 114. The product of the 57 even combinations is 6,234 which equals the total number of verses as I stated before.

Nope its 6,346 the total number 6+3+4+6 is 19. And 6346 is divisable by 19. These are the locking mechanism. So people who study the Quran know what was inserted in. God purposely allows two verse added in surah atTaubah. And it is LOCKED! No one can take out that added verse but at the same time people who studied the Quran knows the attempt to change the Quran!
There is no hafs version. God is the sole Guardian of His Books.

If you read the verse about the 19, it also says Allah will mislead people with it.
And some here sadly do follow their desires, and end up taking the Quran just as traditionalists do, as a book of mysteries and nice things, instead of looking for guideance and commands from Allah...
People hate to obey Allah, so they twist the tongues to make words mean less work... that's what i'm afraid of doing tbh.
Because hadiths may be wrong to use for law, and fabricated, but that doesn't justify at all twisting the Quran to mean what suits you...
You should have actual honestly, the whole religion is "Submission" not "I think this may mean x which casually is less work".ism.

Also there is something going on with the Ruh, Spirit, but we don't know except but a little, and then making up ideas about it isn't the way, especially if it leads to shirk (association with God, making his servants, like Jesus or Jibreel as equals unto Allah, God)
But tbh, this issues are in fact in the Quran, and i think Allah subhana wa taala is clear on this because otherwise there is a lot of confusion going on out there...

It is a big fabrication to state the Qur'an is composed of 6,346 Ayat. Following this notion means one has to believe the Qur'an has missing as well as additional hidden verses (i.e. a slavish adherence to Rashid Khalifa's discredited and false number 19 theory)!
Peace - either the mathematical structure of the Quran is a coincidence or it is by design, but to argue that it is a fabrication is literally what God says the disbelievers will say in the Sura 74 entitled Hidden Secret which discusses the number 19 and the importance of this number as one of the great miracles:
[74:16] He stubbornly refused to accept these proofs. [74:17] I will increasingly punish him. [74:18] For he reflected, then decided. [74:19] Miserable is what he decided. (1) to disturb the disbelievers,
(2) to convince the Christians and Jews (that this is a divine scripture),

(4) to remove all traces of doubt from the hearts of Christians, Jews, as well as the believers, and
(5) to expose those who harbor doubt in their hearts,
and the disbelievers; they will say, "What did GOD mean by this allegory?" GOD thus sends astray whomever He wills, and guides whomever He wills. None knows the soldiers of your Lord except He. This is a reminder for the people.
