Such a great game! It's art style and atmosphere is still uncontested among strategies for sure. Each unit and portrait is pure masterpiece. Although at higher levels everything becomes kinda imbue and weird. High armor seems kinda op with all these potions etc. I also noticed that DarkSouls have similar style/atmosphere to certain extent.
that's exactly what I thought recently, was thinking about why Disciples 3 and Liberation have such a different feeling from Dark Prophecy, and the best way I could say it is that D2 is dark fantasy in the same vein as Dark Souls, whereas the later games are "dark fantasy" in vein of something like Raid Shadow Legends or League of Legends with Halloween skins on every character
Ya I actually wanted to switch the Battle Orientation to see what Gallean's character model looks-like however, I did not find that function. The put it in the Rise of The Elves Expansion. That is why I did the final boss fight twice. One with buffs and one without.
yeah, but is strange that attack is Life based... i mean is holy?? well gallean was a elf god, so makes sense, but not the death wind of Ashgan from undead guardian
Yes it is life based. That is why when I used the Undead they took poison damage but I don't think Lachal'an is immune to poison to begin with which is weird since he is Undead.
Both the attack itself and the poison of Gallean's Beast are, indeed, life based. I guess it makes some sense, as the Beast is part of Gallean's spirit and Gallean had the life-giving gift.
A cool way to beat him. Otherwise when I passed this saga, I used a imported Lich Queen (Level 18) and greatly upgraded party units and this final battle was no more than 5 turns. I have played it with a banshee with level 99, too.
Thanks! I wanted to beat Gallean's Beast with Lachla'n years ago but never managed to do so. Gallean's Beast is my favorite boss in the whole entire game. The Maps for this campaign were no hell though and they tell you to bring Lachal'an's remains. I wish something more would of happed with them other than just the ceremony. Years ago when I did this mission I made it too the end but did not bring Lachlan's remains. Nothing happened so I had to do the whole mission over.
I like Gallean's beast ,too. Due to his massive attack with poisoning probability, he is able to do the biggest one-turn damage in the game. I see you have reduced his armour. Actually this boss is a little modified unit and the 40 points have been added with a redaction from the game developer. I really enjoy slaying big bosses, because most of them give to the winner 8000-10000 XP points. Otherwise, I don't know if you have estimated it, but Dark Lachla'an can be called the strongest unit in the entire D2 game. The reason of this is that he is a summoner. Every summoned unit increases the Dark elf' s price and when he is defeated, the killer of the elf can be granted much more than 10000 XP points,granting the winner the biggest possible XP earning per killed unit of level 1. You may have felt that if you have completed fully the Mountain Clans' saga.

You can check it out and share impressions (I' ve done it in the hardest difficulty). You can place the .sg file from the archive to Game directory/ Exports - folder and play it as a custom quest. Compatible with D2 Gold.
Maybe in the future I will take a look at it but I have been doing Disciples for 3 years so it is a little stale. I told viewers after I was done this mission I was taking a break from D@ and I meant it this time.

I think this is an issue with the game engine, it can be fixed with a fan patch, this has nothing to do with setup though, as far as I know
