The darkweb is much more scary to enter, All type of drugs, creepy pastas, hitman, guns, stolen items, fraude, torture etc. The darkweb is harder to reach. The reason this video scares me is that at the end, even if it was just for a moment, they were talking about how the deep web isn't all just bad... people who aren't well informed or immature teens might actually take that statement and decide that it's "safe" for them to try accessing the deep web... i personally think that was a really bad move buzzfeed... what the people on this video looked at was "literally" just the skin surface of the dark web...
Yes, please relook this video. This is making the deep web sound all so much like a joke, when in fact it’s not okay and not at all normal, including the drugs and underwear mentioned. I’m not even some strict 30 year old mom or something, I’m just 20 years old and feel the tone of the video wasn’t appropriate, especially for those (kids) who have no idea what the deep/dark web is.

Guys this is like super super unrealistic. I mean, the process is right, the browsers like Tor and that dangerousness is true, but the drugs and normal porn being the "dark" things they look for? Not even talked about the human trafficking, the children pornography, the people and animals being tortured to death or similar things videos, guns and all types of ilegal weapons, killers and all types of services hiring, the ilegal and secret information about all types of things that were tried to be banned from internet and a long etc. And not talking about the users that if you accidentally mess with any of them, could easily not only find your location but all types of information about you, and a person that goes around "the-internet-for-illegal-stuff" is never someone to get in trouble with.

Sorry to reveal how disgusting humanity is, but it's not even illegal to post it on surface web. Also, your claim about being easily found isn't true, depending on how much common sense and a bit of computer knowledge you have, you can easily avoid that by using a Proxy or VPN (preferably a Proxy). Proxies and VPNs are difficult for even the Government to trace back properly, especially if you're using Tails OS or another program that runs with Tor to give as much security as possible. To end it off, it's not that easy to find illegal stuff on the Dark Web. You'd have to be searching for it. Deep Web isn't scary if you even slightly know what you are doing. It's actually super fascinating.

Well, I think that you did not do justice to how scary it is. The conclusion of the video seemed too carefree to me, it seems like an invitation "here everybody the dark web isn't so horrible" when it actually is. it does contain a lot off gruesome stuff like pedophilia, assassinations orders and more awful things, which I think should have been said in the video for younger audience to not go wondering there. You didn't say the name of the browser but everyone who will do a simple search of 'dark web' can find it. So on one hand you hide the browser's name making you a responsible channel, and on the other you make it sound not so bad as to invite people to go there.
Michelle Sh i don’t think they even accessed the dark web, i’m pretty sure they accessed the deep web. the deep web isn’t THAT bad, compared to the dark web. both are hard to accumulate, but the deep web is MUCH easier to come across. i can assure you though, a younger child will not be able to access the deep web tbh. it’s too complex to just google a how to for it, even if tutorials for it exist on google.
(btw, the dark web is more associated with pedophilia, bestiality, etc. while the deep web is sorta just a secure place to buy like drugs MAYBE. and even then, the dark web is only like roughly 60% dark. most of the time, both are just used for privacy for journalism and politics in underdeveloped countries. no need to worry about their younger audience tbh).

The other part are like databases or parts of websites that require passwords. The definitions of each one aren’t based on if they have more gruesome content or what type of content they have.

I've been to the dark web a few times myself. It's pretty boring if you don't have cryptocurrency and/or aren't into highly illegal porn. Outside of the bestiality/CP and illegal marketplaces (which often carry legal, though probably stolen, goods), it's mostly secret forums of maybe 20 registered users (but about 6 active) people who don't speak English talking about something or other. I've been informed that they're mostly discussing things that their government doesn't allow to be discussed, like their civil repression and conspiracy theories. It's really not this super-horrifying place, it's just kind of dull unless you're trying to break the law hardcore.

The dark web is the deep web, just a certain part of it. The deep web isn't anything special. Ever logged into a Gmail account? Boom, you've accessed the deep web. Anything not readily available to the public (essentially) is the deep web. The dark web is just a rather sketchy part of the deep web that generally uses encrypted URLs and does not have standard surface web protocol. They were on the dark web, however, and by definition, also on the deep web.

@@TA-ox6qg Sure, firstly, the dark web is not really largely different than normal websites, and for all the drug and child pornography sites on it (which there are, though the legitimacy on many of them is questionable), there are probably an equal amount or even more on normal websites. And in recent years, the dark web has been dying. Going back to what makes it so different, dark web websites are also called onion sites, because of their onion extension. I believe these are encrypted differently, and require an onion capable web browser (like Tor) to visit. These websites do normally offer more anonymity (or at least they require more when visiting) and security, which is nothing normal sites can't do. Overall, the dark web has turned into more of an urban legend, and now any illegal sites on it are likely also on the "clearnet."
The reason I find this video funny is because how overblown they make the dark web seem. Yes, there is some serious crap going on in it, but it isn't nearly as bad or illegal as people think (it is not actually illegal to browse the dark net, though purposely going onto or buying from illegal sites are still illegal).

@@qeqe07 Just type in Dark Web horror stories and you will find a myriad of reasons why. These guys in the video hardly scratched the surface- probably due to the younger viewership.

Horror stories are meant to intimidate you, and scare you, into thinking it's a dangerous place. This couldn't be further from the truth. First off -- just being on the Dark Web is NOT illegal, in fact, the United States Government released the dark web to the public. The horror stories you hear are all fake -- There are no 'red rooms' or Hitman websites. There's again, a TON of proof that it simply isn't possible, but sure, fake websites do exist. And people trying to order hitmen from these sites, indeed do get arrested (because the websites are controlled by the FBI).
*TL;DR, don't believe everything you hear, else you're a sheep*

To answer your question; yes, cocaine has a smell. I used to "smell" it often but usually a bit to hard and "accidentally" ended up with quite a bit of it in my nose.
