"This F-Zero hack replaces all 15 tracks with new ones, some being remakes of tracks from other games, some being original designs. The tracks do not follow the same order as the original game. Difficulty of each league goes from easy to hard, and so do the leagues, with Knight being the easiest, and King being the hardest."

Well, they kind of did, but it's actually an Expansion called BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2, "BS" standing for Broadcast Satellite.
Made for the Satellaview, a expansion peripheral that attaches to the bottom of the Super Nintendo.
It lets players download games (like the one mentioned), read news & listen to any Radio station in Japan, all from the SNES!

very cool that they put the n64 songs in the game, but it sounds like they couldnt get note pitch bends to work, which is unfortunate. music hacking is probably still in early stages of progress right now

You sure can get into trouble it's using nintendo's IP without permission. It doesn't matter who does the work and how good it is. If it's not approved by Nintendo, you can definitely get in trouble for it, and if you're selling it, you better believe they are sending lawyers after you. Many people have gotten sued by them, and one even served jail time for it.

I'm sorry, this music is a severe downgrade. The drums are too loud and abrasive, and the melodies are robotic and stiff in parts where it should flow. The original was a ton better.

@@ScotsmanGamer Dude, it’s a MIDI interpretation of the N64 music. “8-bit music” (NES, SMS, etc) has a maximum of 4 tone generators and is usually a wavetable synth or PSG. This sounds nothing like any of that, fool.

Music actually grows on you,its actually good,some of the tracks,the notes need to slide and have a bit of reverb to them,too short and dry and also tempo not the best but other than that,some SUPERB music on there for sure !!
