One of Dimash's saddest song. It didn't bring me to tears (thankfully lol), but it created some kind of uneasy feelings, like hollowness and repressed sadness and pain far back in your mind. Dimash's individual notes sung through much of this performance sounded with a slight 'dulling' suspect lowering slightly of the larynx - the result is a carry through from the lines he sings with words to the notes he issues without words. Remarkable - this song definitely carries the desolate theme with the words then the music performed and arranged by Dimash - Thank you so much for the version you selected.
Awwww Albert silent reflection is just fine! Dimash has a way of putting so much feeling into his songs. This was his very first song he sung in chinese (mandarin)! He had to learn it in 1 week and of course sing in front of a Chinese audience! I'd say he succeeded by the touched looks on their faces 💜🤗💜.
With Dimash......lyrics are secondary. People who listen to Dimash understands without understanding a single word......that's Dimash for you. He tells the story, he paints the pictures through his voice and his singing.

Thanks for the reaction! Dimash sang in Chinese for the first time in front of a Chinese audience and was worried if they understood him well. Really unnecessary. He sang incredibly beautiful. Now he has improved his Mandarin language a lot what was noticed in China when he sang the beautiful song Thousands of Miles - Common Dream this year, or Restart my love. I highly recommend. This song is amazing and touching. The songs on Gloria Wu though very good are played a tiny bit slower so they don't effect copyright. Singers generally don't use her as their go to person though she gives great info and subtitles. The difference in his singing isn't real noticeable but singers generally want the real deal. Plus this story, maybe because she is Chinese was a bit different. The woman did come back to China in her later years as an Ambassador. The man, her lover, unfortunately had been put to death by the Chinese government for fraternizing with the enemy. A much sadder reality. People generally find this a simple song, if not emotional but have you ever heard Dimash sing a simple song? This is a difficult song to sing as he has to keep the power of his voice equal, the strong and the soft coming out in a similar wave hold back on one and pushing with the other but not too much of either. This is quite a challenging song. This is one of my favorites of his because of how he has to sing and how it seems simple and the back story.

I discovered Dimash 3 years ago. Been listening to this song since then (it is my absolute favorite) and I have yet to listen to it without crying. And to see him perform this live at Barclay's was a surreal experience. Needless to say I "ugly cried" at that concert but I didn't care🤣. You need to watch the Kiev concert version of this song!!
Yes. He is truly phenomenal artist. We are lucky to him in our time. Fun fact there was someone named Farinelli in late 1600’s who had full control of his vocals with 7 octaves capable but he castrated himself to preserve his higher vocal range in his youth. So basically in human history Dimash does 6octaves range for sure with full control is the only one. There are one or two who can or done upto 8octaves but not controlled pretty voice like Dimash. It’s pretty much just noise to human after so high. My favorite song from him is Love is like a dream. It’s just so beautiful.

Finally she was deported to Japan and she never saw China again. Likewise on pressure... because Dimash has to sing it in Chinese he studied and learned it in just one week time. Any foreigner who contributed their great services and good things in other countries should be acknowledged and deserve honor and respect. If ever they violated some rules of that country, or make some offenses or rather misbehave sometimes, probably some legal investigation will be done by the legal authorities to clarify things and settle the matters properly and justly in a good manner. We should not be rush to go into judgment without any lawful proceedings. If the case is great and they are found guilty some disciplinary actions will be taken soon for correctional reasons. But if the case and issues is just a minor and little thing, why we should be harsh to them..? Could we not give them some other chances…? It does not mean that we should always tolerate all the time the misbehavior's but rather we should remember that all of us are not perfect as well, all the time; we commit mistakes every now and then. Remember the Golden Rule… I believed that it is not also easy for foreigners all the way through, living, working and serving in other countries where everything are new to them, they have to adjust themselves, I supposed they also try their best to do good and give their utmost quality service to the place where they are. I have watched this many times, and everytime it brings a tear. Dimash evokes emotion even if you don't understand the words, that's why he is a great talent.
The only thing I might be thankful of during this pandemia is the fact that I had the opportunity to listen first, feel then, chinese songs. I found many beautiful chinese songs I couldn´t understand because I don´t speak chinese but, after learning the lirycs using pinyin I discovered that the beauty and feelings for those songs grew bigger. Awwww Albert silent reflection is just fine! Dimash has a way of putting so much feeling into his songs. This was his very first song he sung in chinese (mandarin)! He had to learn it in 1 week and of course sing in front of a Chinese audience! I'd say he succeeded by the touched looks on their faces 💜🤗💜.
With Dimash......lyrics are secondary. People who listen to Dimash understands without understanding a single word......that's Dimash for you. He tells the story, he paints the pictures through his voice and his singing.
Now, that is how you sing a song, filled with enormous emotion....The Actress actually called Dimash to thank him ... his concern was taking ONLY one week to learn Chinese, and, then to sing in front of a Chinese audience...well, Dimash conquered it all...My favorite performance of his...and, there are so many to choose from, all exquisite!!!

This song is amazing and touching. The songs on Gloria Wu though very good are played a tiny bit slower so they don't effect copyright. Singers generally don't use her as their go to person though she gives great info and subtitles. The difference in his singing isn't real noticeable but singers generally want the real deal. Plus this story, maybe because she is Chinese was a bit different. The woman did come back to China in her later years as an Ambassador. The man, her lover, unfortunately had been put to death by the Chinese government for fraternizing with the enemy. A much sadder reality.
People generally find this a simple song, if not emotional but have you ever heard Dimash sing a simple song? This is a difficult song to sing as he has to keep the power of his voice equal, the strong and the soft coming out in a similar wave hold back on one and pushing with the other but not too much of either. This is quite a challenging song.
This is one of my favorites of his because of how he has to sing and how it seems simple and the back story.

I discovered Dimash 3 years ago. Been listening to this song since then (it is my absolute favorite) and I have yet to listen to it without crying. And to see him perform this live at Barclay's was a surreal experience. Needless to say I "ugly cried" at that concert but I didn't care🤣. You need to watch the Kiev concert version of this song!!

Yes. He is truly phenomenal artist. We are lucky to him in our time. Fun fact there was someone named Farinelli in late 1600’s who had full control of his vocals with 7 octaves capable but he castrated himself to preserve his higher vocal range in his youth. So basically in human history Dimash does 6octaves range for sure with full control is the only one. There are one or two who can or done upto 8octaves but not controlled pretty voice like Dimash. It’s pretty much just noise to human after so high. My favorite song from him is Love is like a dream. It’s just so beautiful.

This song is base on a true and a sad story of a Chinese born Japanese actress: Yoshico, Yamaguchi, during world war II, who hid her Japanese heritage. The Chinese audience adored her. But after the war her true identity was being exposed, since then she was scorn by the people who once loved her. Finally she was deported to Japan and she never saw China again. Likewise on pressure... because Dimash has to sing it in Chinese he studied and learned it in just one week time.
Any foreigner who contributed their great services and good things in other countries should be acknowledged and deserve honor and respect. If ever they violated some rules of that country, or make some offenses or rather misbehave sometimes, probably some legal investigation will be done by the legal authorities to clarify things and settle the matters properly and justly in a good manner.
We should not be rush to go into judgment without any lawful proceedings. If the case is great and they are found guilty some disciplinary actions will be taken soon for correctional reasons. But if the case and issues is just a minor and little thing, why we should be harsh to them..? Could we not give them some other chances…? It does not mean that we should always tolerate all the time the misbehavior's but rather we should remember that all of us are not perfect as well, all the time; we commit mistakes every now and then. Remember the Golden Rule…
I believed that it is not also easy for foreigners all the way through, living, working and serving in other countries where everything are new to them, they have to adjust themselves, I supposed they also try their best to do good and give their utmost quality service to the place where they are. Indeed we should be grateful to them for whatever good contribution they have to the society. I believed that people will not resists to change when we show them our love and concerns and leads them towards goodness and truth without being harsh to them, this is the real facts and irony of it, that the more we are cruel or harsh to people seems the more they are resistance to change.
Many times because of human weakness, even if the person just commit a little bit of offense seems we forgot everything good they have done, and we just see and focus only and overpower by the little mistake that they did. If we let anger prevail in our hearts surely we become blinded to see the good deeds in people. And if this behaviors continues to settle in our hearts how painful it is, we cause in other people’s hearts especially to the foreigners.

I have watched this many times, and everytime it brings a tear. Dimash evokes emotion even if you don't understand the words, that's why he is a great talent.
The only thing I might be thankful of during this pandemia is the fact that I had the opportunity to listen first, feel then, chinese songs. I found many beautiful chinese songs I couldn´t understand because I don´t speak chinese but, after learning the lirycs using pinyin I discovered that the beauty and feelings for those songs grew bigger. I understand what Dimash went through by learning Autumn Strong and how far he went in comprehending it by this awesome performance.
