"To Leave and Come Back is a constellation of songs about the many facets of love and its misplacement, solitude, naivete and hubris, but most importantly the absurd ways that they reflect upon and refract each other while the world spins endlessly. These songs span the course of many relationships, homes, jobs; in some ways, each song was almost written by an entirely different person than the last.
