I clicked on the suggested video, fully expecting to listen to one of my favourite Sovereign Grace songs. Instead, I heard the main songwriter talking about how he had written it and had also been helped by his dad with the writing. That alone is a precious gift to see father and son working together to praise God and especially to help others to do the same thing.
Then he told me about some of the impact that he is aware that the song has had. And I would think that for every piece of news about the song’s impact that he gets, there will be many thousands that he will not have heard about.
And that is another reason for me to praise God and thank Him for the gifts that He gives to His people.
And after all that, I still didn’t get to listen to the song again! Not even a link to one of their videos with the song …
