Somehow I missed Jaws of Fate 4 Gold Spin the Wheel of Yogg-Saron!!! One my personal favorites. Now while I have a NEED to often spin the wheel when I should not the question is this good? I think it is truly the most random reward. You are completely taking a chance every time you take this. Gold card in the shop? Darkmoon Faire cards? Shuffle your stats so your cycle card is now a 128/140.... Yogg does all of these things. I think Wheel is C tier realistically S tier in my heart. The best time to realistically play this is when you have NOTHING, and you are dying why the hell not? Or when you are so far ahead the chance to get Darkmoon Faire Cards or extra gold minions is just worth the risk. But in truth... I take it FAR more then I should :) I just love it!
I would argue that the cards that give you one minion is deceptively good; it cheapen the price of the spell effectively by one, banks a gold, and can be cycle with cards that get a bonus from casting tavern spells. The fact that enchanted Lasso and chef's choice is cheap to the point that it does not matter what random minion you get its great tempo, and anybody that can early econ can squeeze in a few extra minion and get to attack first. Heroes like Omu can level and still squeeze in a extra minion when quick leveling. Heroes already with a 2 gold for minion hero power can get another minion on turn 3 if they get Lasso or Chef with an econ card, or cycle a baked quilboar. There just a lot of room to finesse when a minion is attach to the spell.
Id argue enchanted lasso is a solid A or A- rank card. For how low of a tier it is, you can manipulate the tavern to pinpoint that random minion, and it can be any tier minion. Tier 1 card that can used to grab a tier 6 minion for one gold? Solid value.
I'd Like to say: Titus' Tribute with Undead in your game is S++ tier, completely breaks the game, all you need is pump your undead perma attack and on lategame u swarm your board with cheap 7 reborn deathrattle cards and handless forsakens as last 2 minions, then all u do next turns is roll ONLY for titus' tribute. I dont think there's a single build that wins against this if u get full setup with massive attacks
Azerite empowerment: I would argue for a total of 56 stats (8 (4/4) x 7 (full board), is a pretty heft boost, especially when you take into account other buffs like Divine Shield and Reborn.
The problem is not the stats of 4/4 the problem is when they arrive. Tier 6 is when you need a win condition up, and running. 4/4 for 4 gold even if its 56 spread across the board more often then not is waisted as in this portion of the game 100/100 is more and more common, and between summons/Venom those stats are essentially useless except if you get to tier 6 really fast, but THEN you don't want to keep any of those minions typically.
+3 +3 for 3 to one of ever minon type.... wow B tier , +4 +4 for 4 to EVERYONE (+28 +28 when board is full) only D tier. and the spear +4 attack for 1..... errr you give it to your divine shield minion so everything dies. So far stats have been king in this game, with venom lasting 1 hit and all. IMHO your hate for stats is misplaced.
You are not wrong, but in my defense this came out day one of the spell meta. When the day before every other board was all 600/600 murlocs, or venom scam parades! How was I to know it was going to change so dramatically! But yeah stats are super king you are right. Although the tier 6 +4/+4 is at BEST a B tier spell. Subpar for tier 6

Agree completely! This list was before spells were actually available to play. Now Titus Tribute is Broke+ tier in many builds!

It’s too expensive for what you get. You’re better off fishing for a triple, cycling battle cries, or using a better spell.
4 gold for 56 stats is not expensive though. It does come down to what you want to do specifically though.@@alexw4482

im a little worried there are so many spells you wont be able to find actual minions in the tavern ... ?
It’s one spell per roll you get the same amount of minions as before
