I like the kid but with our financial problems we can't pay over 20m for just potential. Kudus, Olise, kvaratskhelia and Leao are available for the same price. Our scouts are clearly not ex footballers. This kid will only be ready after 3-6 years. I get investing in young players but do that after you've fixed the first team.

@@Whknwswhknw most of you have no idea how finances work in football. It is not a game where you just look at total spend or revenue. Profit or loss in the books is not the same as it is in transfer fees. And even if they want to sell home grown players it doesnt mean you have financial problems. It is just logical from financial point of view. If you sell home grown player the whole transfer fee is counted as a revenue and if you sign a player on a 8 year deal the cost in the book is only 1/8 transfer fee. So if we sell gallagher for 60 mil and we sign 100 mil player on 8 year deal, the books will show that we made a profit.

If we keep buying kids our credit limit will reach it's max and we will be stuck with only potential and no first team quality attacking players. When Silva leaves we will have no composed CB on the ball and we will likely concede many goals trying to start play from the back. If we can somehow snatch Bruno from ManU I'd be fine with Conor leaving otherwise the recruiting team needs to get fired and allow Poch to make his preferred signings. Last 2 decades chelsea missed out on Newmar, Robinson, vinicius junior etc whenever they were young. This ownership is determined not to miss such talents..time will only tell whether they will be successful or not

I think the fact that he made his professional debut at 16 and got the title should say something. Endrick didn't do much when he appeared, he just showed that he was different. However, if Chelsea is signing him, they must be aware that he is not enough to be "The Man" of the team, as he is a player in development, just like Endrick and other young players. A great example is Vini Jr, as he was unable to show his football as soon as he arrived.

Takes loads of far range shots but they end up in the stands. Kid aint ready just yet but a good season or two away in a premier league side, then he will do just fine or might even become a dangerous player upfront for Chelsea 💙
