I'm plat 4 with monarchs. I'm fine stomping eldlich, sky strikers, etc... Just play the best monarchs of your life and you can get this high and higher.
They did justice of one of the greatest decks in the game. Today they're powercreeped to the ground, but nobody should forget the March of the Monarchs.
I don't think that right at all. They are definitely a rouge deck, it still tops events tbf and its honestly not a bad deck in the upcoming control format.
Trust me, you don't want the anime OST in games like this, it will get played out fast. These tracks are specifically designed for long matches, anime ones are not. But at the very least you have the option to turn off the game ost and play your own stuff.

Gz I love them too but honestly for all the huge power they have they still need way too many cards to do their thing, compared to drytron or tri brig, they just need 1 card for full board of multiple negates
@Superior Jango I ran Maxx C and Nibiru with the deck. both saved me so many times, plus you can combo Nibiru's board wipe token with monarchs stormforth and enther's effect to tribute the token you just made to go for the otk next turn. did it multiple times. feels great lol
okay but for real though; YGO games have always had music that is way more epic than it has a right to be, but they REALLY went all-out for this one. This is frickin' amazing
So like according to Master Duel the Monarchs travel from world to world destroying each before moving on... Then comes Ehther and with a single step, the Heavenly Monarch revitalizes the world and allows life to bloom once more. I don't think Monarchs are evil, or Ehther is good.... My hypothesis is either: They are doing a Thanos. OR it's literally their function, that they destroy so that they might re-shape the worlds they cross in a better, purer image. I don't think they're opposed to eachother.
The End of the World deck really fits this theme when I played this. Ruin and Demise are both monsters I could see being creatures you see in your dream and understand how fearful their power is. Beings that can create and destroy the world either way.
This is not the "cheap in budget" children's crap game that Komoney has given since ever.... THIS Children's card game HAS actual refined quality and is comparable to Hearthstone. I really do hope that the few bugs get fixed soon and that Konami doesn't screw this up. This is a strong candidate for the GOTY 2022 on the free game division.

I mostly meant MTG's combat is complex, since it's way more than "have a bigger number than what you're hitting" and "don't run into an ability that will screw you over." The defender being inherently favored makes it a lot more difficult to decide what's a good attack in many scenarios. There's a reason some aggro players say "math is for blockers" and swing for the fences when the board gets gummed up too much - considering all the different defense scenarios is an exercise in madness when speculating
I went through the trouble of acquiring the duel field that plays this music by playing the solo campaign of world chalice thinking I would be able to hear this music whenever I used it, only to find out I wont hear it but my opponent will. Well I will keep using the duel field so at least my opponents can benefit from the music
i mean.. its about customizing how you appear to your opponent, so having HIM hear the music makes sense. Its "your theme" he is hearing... it makes more sense then haivng to hear it yourself
Im a die hard Nekroz fan, and I’ve got to say: the chants of this game also fit pretty nicely with a ritual deck thats all about channeling the power of long death legendary synchro monsters from the past.
Monarch decks are without a doubt top tier. Since everyone in this meta spams summons from the extra deck, having a way to literally disable their extra deck is way too powerful. I have been getting insane win streaks with the Domain Monarch deck.
@@Hiro7445- Yeah unfortunately it is not consistent. You cant do much with it after getting to Platinum. It needs way to satisfy too many conditions to be useful, like getting the first turn, NOT having a bad starting hand, and getting even one effect negated could cost you the game.
A theme to perfectly tell you that you are fighting literal embodiments of destruction. Was not expecting the monarchs to be so evil from their lore. At least Ehther (and Kuraz?) are good.
You need to update your Yu-Gi-Oh lore. Light in it's most extreme form is PURE destruction, almost worse than darkness. (In GX the main enemy for multiple seasons is an aspect of pure light, Judai Is an aspect of "the gentle dark")
Monarch's lore gives darksouls/nier vibes I hope they upgrade Monarch's lore and deck make it godlike like they did this lore and music it has so many potential to be good as other iconic cards
This theme song is amazing, the duel between my Quasar Synchro deck vs the Monarchs was so epic with this song. Summoning Stardust Dragon and shooting Quasar has not been this satisfying since 2011

I've only just started the master duel game and have just started on the solo missions and needed to hear thos more. This soundtrack is magnificent. It feels like something you listen to when you play an intense fantasy game.
Even in the tutorial levels I was taken by surprise that the game had some pretty damn ost. I didnt know the game was hidding bangers that make no sense being in a yugioh game but pleasantly surprised.
They Were the first who rule all , they were the one who gave orders , they got many forms , they are Angels , They are Demons ,They are Heroes , They are Villains but we all knew them as The Monarchs the one who came to Punish THE FUKKING META SPECIAL SUMMON CARDS! (this is why i love Monarchs)

It's not just the Monarch deck, but I think it's more fitting for the Ruin and Demise deck. It gives the energy of trying to defy fate against those that would destroy your world.
I just played against the Ruin and Demise CPU using a well built Red-Eyes deck. I've never seen my Field so barren when Demise(?) used his Effect to wipe out my fully prepared monsters and spells/traps. Felt helpless for a while.
I feel like this theme should honestly have been named March of the monarchs. I know that's the name of one of their cards but still I feel it's also a fitting title for this theme
Subterror deck is to be feared. Used to main it back in my Duel Link days. Seeing the Monarch deck in Master Duel now... The battle must at least be epic.

Ngl when in solo mode in the world legacy/challice story this plays as you battle to save Ib against that goddman 3000 defense shield that keeps resummoning and you can't attack over it with more than one monster on the field... And this music plays... I *felt* that
Easily the worst loaner deck challenge in the game. There isn't a single monster in your deck that can muster more than 3k attack so you quite literally cannot get rid of their defense wall. You're forced to win by deckout.
@@EvilLordCanas you *can* beat over it with the equip spell, but you can only have one monster on the field to use the equip spell, and that shield resummons itself every enemy turn >.
They need to add an option. So you can choose the music you want during duel

It's not just the Monarch deck, but I think it's more fitting for the Ruin and Demise deck.
It gives the energy of trying to defy fate against those that would destroy your world.
Well tbf, the Monarchs are also trying to destroy the world too.
I just played against the Ruin and Demise CPU using a well built Red-Eyes deck. I've never seen my Field so barren when Demise(?) used his Effect to wipe out my fully prepared monsters and spells/traps. Felt helpless for a while.

i love this track this sounds like if the eyptians gods were about to attack somthing this fits well with some kind of destruction when obliesk uses his fits of fury attack
Ngl when in solo mode in the world legacy/challice story this plays as you battle to save Ib against that goddman 3000 defense shield that keeps resummoning and you can't attack over it with more than one monster on the field... And this music plays... I *felt* that
Easily the worst loaner deck challenge in the game. There isn't a single monster in your deck that can muster more than 3k attack so you quite literally cannot get rid of their defense wall. You're forced to win by deckout.
@@EvilLordCanas you *can* beat over it with the equip spell, but you can only have one monster on the field to use the equip spell, and that shield resummons itself every enemy turn >.
