Saaame I’ve been waiting decades for a team to come to Utah
Slc and Utah are one of my favorite places, as a die hard oilers fan, congrats on the team and as long as they aren’t playing the oilers, I’ll be cheering for you!!!
So it looks like there is going to be no new arena built.
Nothing has been set in stone. I think they're waiting for public opinion. If they get approval from the public I'm sure there will be a new arena. If there's some friction they will just go with the updating current building plan. Right now the building is built for basketball. I think the figure was 4,000 seats are obstructed views. I think it was 18,000 was what was planned with updates. They also mentioned in the press conference there was another plan that the Smiths weren't interested in but it's also there. That one was to build an arena out of downtown. Please keep in mind this is all fresh information and I've only watched it once. Please do more research if you're really interested.
Better that way, I think. It should save a lot of money in the long run
I just wish the Delta Center weren’t so cramped. It’s more like the Delta Economy center.

I think they’ll go to the Olympic oval until the new practice facility is built in downtown because it’s in good condition. Maverik is also a possibility but it would need a remodel and it’s owned by west valley city. I figure he wants to own the new practice facility and put it downtown.
