I think every ALM module is gold but whoever’s brain is behind these patches could probably make any module interesting. So much taste and creativity. Every time I see a new demo from you guys I mostly show up for the inspiration. I can’t think of another designer I can say that about.
Just got a Squid/mmMidi combo from a friend - I’m now in full support of the ALM ecosystem and was waiting to see when anything new would breach the horizon. This voice sounds lively, playable, and fun. Cheers!
Aliemie’s Taiko can be really melodic also. It’s a drum module but with pitch info and slightly longer release times it can function as a full FM synth voice.

I’m torn between Akemie’s Taiko and Tyso Daiko atm. I had the og Dinky’s Taiko when it came out and loved it, but the Tyso definitely sounds like it has a broader range. Akemie’s Taiko sounds lovely, but sounds similar to my Volca Drum. Are they using the same chip?
They use different chips. Akemie's Taiko produces sounds via original NOS Yamaha chips and is FM based vs the wavetable architecture of the Tyso Daiko.
Rhythmic sequences can be made using just the Euclidean parameters and(or) the random skip percentage. Longer and random rhythms can then be looped with the 'Loop' parameter to make more 'musical' rhythms.
This thing is an amazing addition to your line! My question is, how is the quaid Megaslope patched to the castle for transposing that sequence on the last example??

I think Quaid goes to the CV input on Pams to transpose the sequence created by Pams that is then sent out to the Castle.

@@dammills Yes, specifically CV1 is assigned to the 'offset' parameter to do the transposition here.
At first glance seems like a lot of overlap to other ALM but soon it’s clear the idea aren’t just twists of something else but far beyond
