Hi, we are building house lift pit. But the bottom of the lift pit have some water and it's wet all the time due to raining and construction soil cause buiding now. We haven't do waterproofing for it yet so will it impact on concrete structures? Do i need to keep the lift pit bottom dry and clean while waiting for whole buildings complete?

Yes But RCC is better... One of the reasons is protecting the lift car during earthquake. Better waterproofing due to concrete walls & more durability...
