Rewatched slugterra awhile ago cuz I never forgot about it. And MAN I’ll never forgive them for cancelling the show after that outrageous cliffhanger. I even made my own slug oc for fun too, this franchise was golden.

No matter what, whenever this is brought back up, I always remember the ending, and the speed-scene. Other than that, I remember nothing, but I still really miss this, as I’ve only watched it once, and could never watch the series again.

i remember when i was 9 when i get back to school with my sister and brother we would sit infront of the tv waiting for the show to start we would always laugh when there is comedy and be quiet when serious moments come to the show in some episodes where its supposed so be serious the creators of the show would sprinkle some comedy in the episode our mom would always prepare food that we find in the fridge to enjoy slugterra with food man it was so much fun

The nostalgia is eating me alive
The only problem I had with the show is how inconsistent everything was there. For example ghouls were stated as objectively more powerful slugs but 3 of them could be taken out by one usual slug in one scene even when it wasn’t some skilled one. In a lot of scenes both slugs and ghouls also just blow up no matter what powers they have. So the rules there weren’t very clear. And as a kid I freaked out every single time some nameless slug was shot by main characters. You know why? Because I was never sure if this slug was alive anymore. Main character could have one of his kind in his arsenal in next scene and I never knew if that one guy survived and came back and the one who is sitting in a jar is not another one
Easily one of the best childhood shows know to mankind

To be fair, Will did give Eli a choice. In the letter, it says IF Eli chose to be a slugslinger like him, which Eli did, though I think he probably knew his son would choose that. Also, if you go deep into the lore, Will himself trained at around Eli's age. There's also like five movies and a new major character and villain that I found out years later. There was also a new mini series (I guess it's a mini series?) that happened last year and is available on the official Slugterra channel on CZcams. It's not as good as the original though, probably because of either having a small budget, having to move to a new software maybe, or just testing to see if fans still cared, I dunno. Anyway, happy that someone also remembers this show, really missed it, love all the characters in there, even the minor and side ones.
