This is why I love watching your channel in particular, you are not a hardcore meta-slave that will just tell us "the Sheridan is bad", no YOU pick out these vehicles that aren't really played that much. And you bring out the best with them and show us what you can accomplish with them. You are hands down the reason why I even play WoT right now, rock on and continue showing us really good spots on maps and showing us what these tanks can really do.

@@nephalos666 Not really. Meta is always a huge factor, however, you can still play those tanks, which are mediocre and yet have nice results with them. Some tanks are better, regardless of this fact even worse tanks can have better results, it is all about players, which are sitting in them. Of course it is easier to pick Leopard I or TVP instead of Amx 30b or B-C 25t but dude, B-C 25t is such a devastating tank in a good hands. Same goes to lights. You can play EBR or T-100 for easier and less challenging gameplay to achieve some good spot or dmg numbers, nonetheless you can pick RHM or Sheridan and do the same thing, but in a harder and more rewarding way.
Go into comparison and compare all the light tanks at tier 10. The Sheridan has the best view range out of all of them, I think faster only slower than the Rhm, and the Sheridan has a good rate of fire with its 105mm. Not everything is about running around like a headless chicken with your 152mm gun launcher and dying in the first minute in the match because your not using the tank to its pros. And no... no you cant do everything better than the Sheridan. Sorry that I'm not a Meta-Slave and actually look into the lesser liked vehicles and play them.
5 bushes don't matter. Bushes add to a maximum of 70%, one dense bush has 50% camo and one less dense bush/grass 25%.
If your tank has ~50% camo (ELC AMX or EVEN 90 for example) and enemy has 450 meters viewrange you get spotted at 250 meters. If your 50% tank sits in one bush the camo adds up to 100% and you get spotted at 50 meter. CWS reduces your camo behind bushes, so you can calculate yourself.
(Basically if your camouflage is >30% and you sit behind at least two bushes you are only proxy-spottable, considering enemy doesnt have CWS and youre not moving if not in an light tank)
The mathematical formula is:
Viewrange - (Viewrange - 50) * (Camofactor + Bush)
Example:
450 - (450 - 50) * 0.5 = 250 meters spotting distance
450 - (450 - 50) * 1.0 = 50 meters spotting distance
So if your Sheridan has 530 meters viewrange and CWS and FV215b 183 hides behind multiple bushes (70% camo + arround 16% of its own camo) it's own camo gets reduced to 0 because of CWS (-15% or -20% depending on the slot) and you will spot him at
530 - (530 - 50) * 0.7 = 194 meters as you can see arround 0:58
This just shows how overpowered and gamebreaking CWS really is. Without CWS he wouldn't have spotted the FV215b 183 only at arround 115-130 meters depending on camo skill and other factors.
Isn't it that bushes give you maximum of 80% camo?
@@chrismas_7306 I just read about it and as it seem, maximum value got reduced to 64%. Thats new to me.
Also I found out that if you shoot in a bush the bushes camo doesnt go to 0% it goes to 30% if it was a dense one (bush closer than 15 meters). Also if you shot, the bushes camo don't stack, so you can have a maximum of 30% then.

great video kajzoo, you inspired me to start playing LTs and it became pretty much my main class now, thanks to your tips and positioning iam having huge amounts of fun though i still really struggle on pretty much every map but murovanka and prochorovka, i just cant get westfield to work, its either nobody comes with me or the enemy LT is already in position and iam locked in place and seem to get outspotted or proxied in the bushes in the K line corner, iam running a max crew t100/manti with a bounty exhaust, bond optics and CVS.
I love playing lts but not ebrs. They are the most satisfying class to play. Only had 1 game where over 10k spotting.
teammates can be a pain. Been tk and pushed out of a bush just because of my stats.
I am a 49% where do you think I am at in the hall of fame for spot dmg?

The hardest part (if not platooned like kajzoo) is getting your team to actually shoot at what you light up. I regularly have matches were lit tanks are simply left alone and allowed to move/advance despite teammates being in line of sight.
I always enjoyed the Sheridan even before all the mods and improved equipment. The combination of speed, firepower and view range made it very versatile.

I love the fact that all the tanks that are seemingly “the worst” or have the lowest win-rate are usually hella underrated and actually incredibly good if played to their strengths. Ggs Kajzoo. I apologize if you already have one, but if not, you should make a vid on the Rheinmetall Panzerwagen. My favorite tier X light by a looong shot. So wildly underrated, having incredible view range and a much better gun than most tier X lights, it is truly special in my eyes, and quite easy to score 4-6k direct damage games fairly consistently.

Just bought it, i am excited to see how it works out w the super view range.
I heard only negative reviews for Sheridan and having him unlocked for years with top of the tree I gave it a try. For me it's one of the best tier 8 mediums :) sure it fails all tier X LT camo battles but it's so much fun to play, with great gun and that insane power to weight ratio.
My sheridan is rather cursed... Having said that I just tried your setup (not bounty equipment) and it worked like a charm!
So now not just one Giga Chad but two of them, this is getting out of hands. The light tank videos keep getting better and better. Thanks for the video Kajzoo, I'm still patiently waiting for you to use the trololo happy mode EBR 105 🤣

But I think the player makes the difference, you can do things in Sheridan that most others (including myself) can't.
So Sheridan will be bad for the average Joe, no matter how many damage you do/spot with it.

The Sheridan gets a lot of hate but I agree with you Kajzoo that the great firepower with the standard gun plus the excellent view range make this a fun light tank to play. You can use it as a spotter at times, or if need be you can use it almost like a fast medium tank to get to positions quickly and deal damage. Every light tank is different and will require a different play style.

i think if you unterstand how you can drive the ebr is the ebr much better. And yes i got 2 days a go the 3 MoE on the ebr. And i had many good spotting rounds. Manyyy over 10k without platoon. But keep it up! Your videos are really help full for light drivers! (and sorry for my bad english)

where you drove to @ 8.21 I go to that spot because I dont feel comfortable going to the usual bushes. every time I do i seem to get spotted and or blind shot.
Also Mr. Kajzoo I have a question. So I'm trying to get that sweet 10k spotting game in my t100, but I dont seem to get those through the bushes spots, now I'm not the best light player so that can be one issue, but also I dont know where should I improve my tank. I have 506m viewrange with BIA, Recon, Situational awareness, Bounty Optics, food and optics directive. I also use bounty low noise exhause and CVS in the first spot. I have around 49% camo. Question is, when i get to that field mod, should i take the higher viewrange/lower camo or vice versa? Also should i use camo directive instead of optics one?
Id go for camo, 506m should be enough

Have you noticed that the CVS is bugged on the T-100 LT? CVS in the scouting slot should be -20% camo for tanks behind foliage but it only shows -19.4% on the stat summary in the garage. Together with the field mod, it is -22.4%. Please tell me it's not just me. And if you have an explanation, please let me know.
On Fishermans Bay, i use that Bush even from the other side if the midle is clean.

What perma spot is kajzoo? Is it like I get spotted, 6th sense activates and within 10-12 seconds before I get my spotting points hidden I get spotted again but this time with no activation of the 6th sense so I cant be really sure if Im spotted or not? Correct me if Im wrong please

Sheridan has a lot of space armor , that usually protect it agianst heat, he and hesh shells , this is also true in real life as the space armor was effective against rpgs in Vietnam war
only against the older variants of HEAT and HE shells my dude. Newer shell types can easily defeat sheridans armor

Every time I think about the Sheridan I want to cry. The HE nerfs made it and the T49 basically unplayable and made the spaced armor it has all around completely irrelevant. As a passive scout both the germans (same view range), russian (better camo+some armor) and british (way better camo) are better and as damage dealers the french lights have way better burst potential. So it all comes down to rly good vr, a mediocre gun with rly high dpm for a light (rhm has better dpm with HE and has usable HE pen plus better handlings tho), huge size, joint worst top speed tied with the wz that can sometimes bounce some shells ( p/w on sheridan is a lot better so the acceleration is nicer I guess) and the worst camo out of all t10 lights. The only gimmick it had that made it worth playing let alone grinding was the derp. And the derp is now ungodly inconsistent, sure it can troll FVs but hardly anything cant. Its a sad tank that tries its hardest to find its place in the game, but it cant bcz every other light does its job better, the only thing that made it stand out is long gone, its a shadow of its former self rly...
Yeah I miss the pre-nerf derpguns (KV-2, T49, etc.). I'm still not sure why they pushed the HE changes.

This tank is why extra radio power works, despite almost everyone saying it's worthless. I can notify almost my entire team of where enemy tanks are, so they can make their way towards the enemies, and they can make sure not to be spotted if they use their mini map properly.
agent cro is the chad who gives you free 1800hp spotting and you can sleep on that
@14.40 you can use a bush for the other spawn. the prob. with that one is you get players behind you who get spotted and u might get shot. u also get players giving u shi% for camping!

You can do all this in a EBR as well. The only reason why the EBR is always a top pick because it's the fastest light tank in the game and with the wheels it has better mobility in getting in and out of danger.
I play both the EBR and my T-100LT. When I want a passive spotter I use my T-100LT when I want a active scout I use my EBR. But that dose not mean I can't do both passive and active with either tank because I can just some scouts have better stat's in certain areas which is what sets them apart.
