  • One year ago in September 2022, we took these postie bikes from the southern tip to the northern tip of mainland Australia and we raised over $20,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia. We decided to mark the anniversary of that ride, by joining together yet again for another postie ride.
Join us as we take our three Honda CT110 motorcycles on a 1200km camping trip through the Victorian High Country.
In part 2 we conquer the mighty Mount Hotham soaking up some of the best views Australia has to offer. Winding our way down the mountain we stop at Harrietville for a beer and a break, after a quick break we set off again riding through the pristine town of Bright and look for a place to camp:) Hope you enjoy the video and feel free to leave a comment.

The video of the descent down Hotham doesn’t do the views justice. Not a reflection on your videoing, there’s just a lot to see away from the road. Where you pulled up just out of Hotham, at the top of that rise, is the highest sealed road in the country, at 1720m. Notice the sign about the cross was showing 1840m on the land mark. Some very pretty spots along the way.👍

Totally agree with the video not doing the views justice, the old GoPro 3 doesn't do a great job of capturing the landscape being an action camera. Defiantly recommend doing this ride in person, you will highly enjoy it :)

I’ve actually had the privilege of riding up Hotham on 4 occasions now. Stayed at Harrietville for a week in early2019, so got three laps up there, then on the event day of Peaks was the final climb up it. When you stopped at Mendoran on your trip last year, you were only 70kms from where I live at Dubbo. When you rode through from Hill End to Mudgee, I had some memories, as that’s where I did my hill training for Peaks. Some pretty narly climbs.

Beautiful; but I'd prefer the music to be quieter than your voices (plus I was getting fond of the "Cape York music". (I prefer Vengi's preference for visibility - or prominence!).
I like your editing - a sampling of road styles and styles of country. Some of us would value the opinions of you guys on minimalist camping. (Equipment).
And Vengi's advice tools for small bikes; and fashions in biker clothing.
Looking forward to more adventures! 😊

I thought I would try and mix it up a bit with the music, but thanks for the feedback I will take it on board. A camping video could defiantly be on the cards soon old mate. Cheers for watching:)
