Yes and no. It depends how they are done. I ve done few ones years ago and still not failed.... If done the correct way they wont break.......It is possible crack at diferent places....

I cant remember exactly need to see if i still have that info. But if im not wrong, PIN 1 (-) negative and PIN 4 is ( +)positive

I have 2003 c240 I replaced the yellow lcd screen. Now everything works, but it light is weak. Under some sun conditions it is hard to read the display. Can you fix it, If I were to send to you ?

Hi,
It looks like new LCD hás a contrast issue.
Some aftermarket screens have poor contrast when sun is Bright or even if you Seat on passengers seat, it is hard to read any information on display.

@@diyrepairs6839 I agree. I bought the cheapest I could find lol . If I ever do take it apart again I will try to get a better OEM type, and also I will try to check the back LED's

First path cut was almost invisible to us but he mentioned based on his experience it usually break at this that point. second path cut was visible @ 6:30 as a hair line where he pointed with the tool.
