Good video. Feels a bit shifted towards the earlier tracks though, only very few complete runs of the last tracks...
this. especially the last map, 40 mins of content cut where he's learning the map and beating speed checks etc. Obviously you cant show it all, but this feels like it would have been better as 2 1h videos, with more content.

fun fact. you can turn similar to joe you do on keyboard with controller by binding your turn left and turn right to non analog buttons

Yeah I think this is pretty common knowledge. I use dpad buttons for certain ice maps because I like it more than keyboard still
@@nameless-hu4mm eh, I’d prefer to wiggle with the dpad and use the stick for the rest of the map, sounds better to me than trying to move hands from keyboard to controller
@@nameless-hu4mm Custom input devices are one of the best things about PC gaming. The solution that works for you only needs to work for you. No need for a one-size-fits-all solution.
only thing is that on keyboardu got a finger for each button so you can switch between left and right within a frame, on controller you gotta move ur thumb accross, tbf that's not necessary for the vast majority of maps, but in stuff like A07 in TMNF it does become a factor at the highest level.

In a previous video, there was a pop-up after each map displaying the amount of time spent on that map. I think you should bring that back.

I watched you playing and it looks rather easy to finish those maps (not AT ofc, just survive).
Then I've encountered map 16... what a pain it was. Took me 40 minutes to finish with countless attempts at those 3 hard jumps and complete reroute from CP5 through CP1 to finish.
I've never played that map again but I'm glad that I'm one of three people from my region which was able to just finish it 😀
That Wirtual drama is like..... Should I Have been banned because I used mouse software to set custom DPI on FPS games?..... His keyboard was made for that... Yeah you can say that he is exploiting the game. But I dunno... He was the only one who tested that and found out that 34% steering is faster. I think it was just inteligent move. Def.... Not cheating. If Nadeo is going to ban AK... they need to ban Controllers too. To make it competetive and even game. :D
PS: With that mindset. YOu can say that by taking shortcuts you are cheating too... Because its not that intended way. :D

His keyboard was made for analog inputs, so me you press a button the more it is pressed ingame, instant of 0% or 100%
What Wirtual did was limiting via software what the keyboard was sending, so he could press the button to 100% but keyboard was sending only 34%

@@Thavinka88 wi-fi is a protocol to connect wirelessly. You can achieve the same thing with a LAN cable. There is no better or worse wi-fi. There is better or worse internet provider service.

lol I had no idea that speedcheck on last map is actually doable, so I made a reroute by jumping from the banked turn to left to climb up and get the checkpoint from the other side, and then drop down to get back on track. I assumed that might be the meta, but I couldn't watch the replays, so I wouldn't know.
also no idea pressing brake and accelerate could get me past 22s ending

@@perleFF I don't really see the issue like if you have an analogue keyboard he could just bind more turn keys and put a physical limiter on how far the key can travel to set a % input right? Same as you could theoretically do the same on a controller to limit how far you can move the joystick, of course a program makes this easier but it's just an inherent thing with the input not being 0 or 1 but every tiny step between also

I'm gonna put my opinion here which no one asked for: editing is ok but so much content is missed :( no WRs, no path finding, last maps are barely there. :/

What happened with virtual?
Nothing. He was using 3rd party software to make custom action keys, concretely, he made a 34% action key which, supposedly, should be optimal for bobsleigh maps. He was open about it on his streams, but since people started complaining, NADEO banned the usage of 3rd party software to alter inputs, but decided not to punish anyone that was doing it before they made the explicit rule.
action keys = cheating.. costum action keys = giga cheating
controllers = p2w
actually, keyboards are also p2w because some keyboards have that key rollover issue
ban all other input devices, mouse/trackpad only trackmania let’s go, surely anyone who buys trackmania has a mouse

Saying he's cheating when the "arbiters" already decided he wasn't since the rule was instated after the incident is something that free societies don't allow. Since there are no legal repercussions on CZcams, it's only fair you at least get told to shut up and keep that stuff to yourself.
I am mostly unaware of the drama and couldn't care less abt track mania pros crying about each other btw, just trying to explain why the guy who responded actually had a good point telling you what he did.
