- Mark & Amber singing their duet, "A Couple More Years", from Mark's latest cd entitled, "Outlaw". This was the first time they met and performed this song live. This was filmed on 8/27/10 at Dosey Doe's in The Woodlands, TX.

Mark is my friend and I was fortunate enough to not only see this performance, but also witness the rehearsal in the green room that he talks about in the video. Awesome duet.
Country is not dead!!
I think it's getting the last rites . Hope it recovers...
Needs more like these two,
Such great singers and genuine people. Thanks for posting this.
You two are the best duo since Loretta and Conway. Album please.

HARD TIMES COME AGAIN NO MORE
Stephen Foster
Let us pause in life's pleasures and count its many tears,
While we all sup sorrow with the poor;
There's a song that will linger forever in my ears;
Oh Hard times come again no more.
Tis the song, the sigh of the weary,
Hard Times, hard times, come again no more
Many days you have lingered around my cabin door;
Oh hard times come again no more.
While we seek mirth and beauty and music light and gay,
There are frail forms fainting at the door;
Though their voices are silent, their pleading looks will say
Oh hard times come again no more.
Tis the song, the sigh of the weary,
Hard Times, hard times, come again no more
Many days you have lingered around my cabin door;
Oh hard times come again no more.
There's a pale weeping man who toils his life away,
With a worn heart whose better days are o'er:
Though his voice would be merry, 'tis sighing all the day,
Oh hard times come again no more.
Tis the song, the sigh of the weary,
Hard Times, hard times, come again no more
Many days you have lingered around my cabin door;
Oh hard times come again no more.
Tis a sigh that is wafted across the troubled wave,
Tis a wail that is heard upon the shore
Tis a dirge that is murmured around the lowly grave
Oh hard times come again no more.
After 3 and Half minutes of talking I decided to move on, did they ever get to the song?
I would have loved it if they harmonized instead of octave singing.
