Oh man, I hadn't seen a Catapult Turtle FTK in forever. That was admittedly a pretty cool way to pull it off.
Last time I saw Catapult Turtle FTK was my first tournament. It was 2004 and Magical Scientist wasn't banned yet because there was no banlist yet.
I was wondering what was the point in drawing that many cards until I saw Ascension Sky dragon and Catapult Turtle.

actually i test this, watapon dont miss timing, only you dont activate it because you need all your cards in hand for Ascension

@@TWLSpark Drawing a card(s) is a specific method of adding a card to the hand.
@@Lawler50431 It is, technically, but you aren't adding as in picking a particular card and getting it to the hand, which is what "adding" means in this game. Ash can only be used against that kind of interaction, but not against drawing cards.
@@TWLSpark Wrong. From Yugipedia: on Add a card: "To add a card is to place a card in the hand. Drawing a card is a specific method of adding a card to the hand." Adding a card includes ALL draw cards but also includes cards that search cards and effects like Archfiend's Oath, where if you name the card correctly it is added to the hand (NOT drawn).
Basically, drawing is always adding to the hand, but adding to the hand isn't always drawing a card. So Ash Blossom is worded as such so it can stop the other methods of adding to the hand. If you want to test this, go play Master Duel, and watch Pot of Desires be negated by Ash Blossom.

I used to use that in my Fluffal build, draw Fluffal off of Toy Vendor and just kept drawing until I hit a Poly or another Vendor.

The fact that it's a FTK kinda undercuts the whole homage. It's like putting the show sound over a FT Exodia draw. Yeah, it's technically the same thing, but it means so much less than if it was an underdog situation
