So it has hit real grind and honestly i cant continue hard mode as the grid is real the grind hurts and honestly i dont know what im doing. Hard mode needs a lot more planning and lot more prep work.. ill try again another time but for now i have to make this more of a better experience for me.,

Hard mode takes yet another one down. @Hybridsteel the best way to play hard mode is to SKIP tier 2 completely. You have to have the efficiency of T3 to survive hard mode. The best way to skip tier 2 is to dig out the hogpan area (~70% is enough.) Then rent the T3 equipment needed. The last difficult bit is to a race to get enough gold the first few days to cover rent. Then my friend you are golden from there on out. To make hard mode much easier... play with the time set on 1:1 per minute instead of the default 12x per minute. Most vets see the time changecheat and make hard mode too easy. But everyone should have the feeling of defeating that hard barrier if only just to learn.
I've played on hard mode myself, and it's a GRIND. But normal mode with nuggets on, is just too easy. For me, a good balance is normal mode without nuggets. Cause on normal mode you still get so much gold out of the ground.
Anyways thats my 2 cents. As long as you are having fun and putting out more gold rush content, I'll be here.

Hi! At the moment, I have managed to develop at a hard mode only with the help of two mobile washing plants placed side by side and filled with a front loader. Trying to pull the game out with a small excavator is possible, but requires very great digging skill.
also not playing it on x1 speed helps. this was my downfall
@@Hybridsteel I think 1x1 in not fair game - all mechanics work at 12:1 time mode (rent, workers wages and all). Hard is hard for real gold miner's.
so an the math of the gold. had you paid in gold rather then cash it would have been 27 oz. which is still 32400, but you also paid at least 1k to process it and lost 3 oz of gold. So it is always better to let him take it out in gold.
I think if you want to do normal mode but still hard

honestly im ok i acctually found playing leaderboard was more fun than playing on my own. ill do another one at some point

the difference of leaderboard. well its a constant grind to be the best and fastest, it worth giving a go.. it made me see the game in a different light honestly.
Btw with that trailer i make same thing left it in factory because no reason transport trailer from claim to factory and back

Im a couple days late to the video i just haven't had the time to watch it as old school runescape has roped me in but anyway i think you made a the right decision to switch to normal mode. I honestly think that you should of done a normal mode playthrough first then maybe a leader board then hard mode. Just my opinion but i cant wait for more of your gold rush content love the videos.
nah im a sort of throw me in the deep end and see what happens sort of person. but im glad i did this really i know what i must face next time.
@Hybridsteel just saying I don't think your a failure either I've done the same thing on many different games over the years and sometimes you just need a challenge for a bit but don't end up committing.

I play on normal. It’s great finding them 35 oz nuggets. It’s a fun game but I’ve never tried hard mode.
im looking into another hard mode but it will be next year now.

iv done leaderboards now and honestly its as learning curve but give it one season you never make those mistakes again
hire a mechanic ftw, still watching so idk if u already have staff hired but they so worth it

I dunno if you realize that but you have played hard mode on what most people call easy mode cause of timescale 1x. Its called hard mode only if you play it on 12x timescale, any lower timescale is making it easier to play, and 1x is just easiest possible way to play it. But you tried.
yep i know.. iv spoken to split a lot about this and he said the 1 thing that hurt me the most playing on hard was the time thing..
