The Volkswagen Beetle is a car that every person can relate to in some way. With over 21 million VW Beetles produced it is a car that touches the hearts of car enthusiasts worldwide with its iconic design, robust engineering, making it an obtainable vehicle for the average working person. Designed by Porsche, it was the brainchild of Adolf Hitler to help create an affordable car for the German people. Ironically, years after the war, the car went from being a fascist leaders fantasy to representing peace, love, and being open-minded.
This is the story of David and his 1963 Volkswagen Beetle. After meeting David and learning about his relationship with his VW Beetle, Fueling Therapy embarked on a project to tell his story through film that we hope inspires others as much as it inspired us. You will learn of his families rich history of how much the Volkswagen Beetle means to them.
