I know divorce isn't ideal but my grandmother was a very strong Christian woman (died last August), divorced her first husband whom she had two kids with, then met her true love when he was 43 and she 47 or thereabouts, and then they married in 1997, and he has been an awesome part of the family ever since. Our family would probably have fallen apart had he not been there time and again.
Of course everyone has their own path to follow, I'm just saying that divorce isn't necessarily something Christians don't go through.
Of course things are different now than in the 60's. Thank goodness lol

At my school (it’s a Christian co-op) we had one of the moms come talk to all the girls about our future spouses and she told us the same thing to go home and pick 3-4 must haves and then pick a few things that a potential spouse must not have, but to not turn the little things into major things! So I totally agree with you! P.S. I totally love your channel and I love how you are not ashamed to talk about Jesus! You are totally a huge role model in my life!
Love your videos but I do have two questions! First, why is it more important that your husband be even more of a leader than you? I understand wanting him to have leadership qualities but can’t you just be equal? And I also understand that you are a Christian, but because America is a country based on freedom of religion and separation of church and state, why do you vote based on religious principles? Not trying to judge here, just curious of your responses because I feel like you answer questions really well! 💕

Wow I love your videos. Love how raw you are with us. It’s interesting that people think it’s weird to wait till marriage. Completely agree with your decision and respect to you for announcing it to everyone. Was just wondering what is something you do that makes you feel closest to Christ? For example listening to Christian songs or reading your bible. Good luck in college.

I loooove how you said that you are able to understand if your husband lived another life before he found Christ! I feel the same way! I’m so so so lucky to have been brought up in a Christian house hold but maybe my future husband wasn’t so lucky and that’s ok!! Hey Jaclyn. After watching this video, I went back and watched your “what I learned in 2017” video. Before realizing that you probably wouldn’t see it because it’s an older video, I commented this.
I’ve been watching you for at least 6 months now. I noticed this video a while ago but never ended up watching it until today. I’m struggling with things similar to what you talked about in this video. God has also been showing me that I need an older girl to talk to and mentor me. I know this seems ridiculous and weird because you don’t know me, but I would love to just have a personal conversation with you. Idk how that would even happen but it’s something my soul is craving right now. I know you have your email in your description box and that’s for business matters. I’m alittle order than you but i look up to u so much ... i have been a Christian my whole life but i come Iike most of our generation does from broken family ... I’m waiting until I’m married to and where i live most ppl only get married bc they get pregnant ... i wanna be happy married to a Christian man and i do NOT believe in divorce either ! I wish i had found u back when i started my job (factory)..i used to never cus bc i was told not to but working in a factory for so long i wanted to fit in so i started cussing and when i moved out (about 3 years ago) i lost my grandma not to long before that and i was kinda messed up and lost so i Started rebelling (no where near normal rebellion ) shortly afterwards i relised what i was doing was wrong so i did my best to change back ..when i watched your video about how u dont cus it opened my eyes and ever since i have been praying & asking god to help me with my mouth .. biggest regret i have is getting into the habit of cussing ,I’m also very shy &quiet &I struggle with severe social anxiety (i was a sheltered kid) i hope one day i can be outgoing & friendly like u !
