What audio filters are you using?
Let me know in the comments below!
Noise Gate and Noise Suppression!
Same! Also using a limiter 😊
Great help, thank you!
How you export the audio from obs
When u talk while typing does ur mic pick it up?
Thank you for being the only video I've found to actually explain everything thoroughly so I could understand for myself rather than trying to mimic settings. Awesome!
Glad I could help! Happy streaming!
Thank you so much for making this so easy to understand! In my mind I understood the close/open threshold completely backwards, now I've got it fine tuned and working great!
I'm glad I stumbled across your channel last year. I made a lot of exponential changes that changed my broadcasts in ways I could never imagine. If I hadn't stopped streaming for so long, I feel like I would have grown even more with your tips. Always a pleasure watching your tips videos.
Thank you for watching!
Oh. My God. Been struggling with my audio since I got the new mic last year (the Fifine k669) and ALL I NEEDED WAS THIS??
As always, without fail, Wild saved my streams once again. Every time I follow one of your suggestions it's BOOM quality! I 1000% owe it to you to be an affiliate and having more and more people coming to my streamings. You are awesome.
I am glad that I can always be clutch for you. Just remember me when you BIG :)
Thank you so much. I dabble in animating and I've always avoided voiceovers because of the feedback/buzzing
I get from my computer in the background. This solved my problems and made my day.
After about 6 different videos about this topic this is the only one that actually got me the answers I needed thank you!
Great tips, back when I started trying to dial in the audio took the most time and the noise gate definitly helped.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
this is the best and most informative video i’ve ever watched. explains everything perfectly and with a clear voice. much love!
Make sure to tell your friends :P
Figured this out a couple weeks ago and my god was I happy, thanks for explaining it a bit better though so I can tweak it to perfection! Always a help.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, I had a problem with hearing my mouse click and my keyboard clacking. 100% recommend this walkthrough/tutorial for noisegates, very simple to follow and understand
You're welcome! Glad it helped and thanks for sharing!
Honestly this video needs about 100k more likes, This was really awesome explaining what each different thing does. Its the ONLY video I found useful.
THANK YOU for explaining this so plainly AND thoroughly.
Would of never found about NVidia broadcast if you hadn't talked about it, thank you so much it's exactly what I needed!
This advice helped alot, cause half the time when im streaming my OBS is always picking up my mouse clicks. 10/10 advice
i didn't even have to mess around with the settings because the background noise is just the fan in my pc and the cicada's! thanks a lot dude. really appreciate it!
thanks man this helped a ton i just started streaming with a pc that has loud fans and this fixed my whole issue
Oh my goodness, thank you so much, man! This helped so much, I just bought a $50 mic and it was super crackly and had a huge amount of default gain, and this video helped with that! I am new to youtube and streaming and really appreciate the tips!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
Great video been trying to figure out the Attack And Hold I finally figured out 25/100/150 and it sounds great.
Thank you for this. I do have a blue yeti mic. And I don't currently have a gaming room so sometimes there are people talking in the room and fans are blowing sometimes. My mic is on the opposite side of my pc but they are both on my desk.
Nice. Thanks for this. The simple filter got my desk fan to basically be "ignored". :)
that was the noise i was getting i was going to watch your video but somehow when i try to do it on my own i somehow managed to get rid of the fan noises i was getting while i was streaming i was like eww that will no attract people coming in so today i got bored and i managed to fix every little detail by fooling around with it one step was messing so i watched yours and it works like a charm i no longer have that annoying fan noise or hearing my laundry in the background so flippin happy thank's
Thank you for the tips, u actually helped me out alot with my channels, i recommended your channel to my friends that started streaming during the holiday. Your the best man 😁👍

Thank you!!!! I have been looking for a solution to this and this was the best video explaining it (not including the ad part).
You're welcome! Glad to be of help!
Holy Crap. After using Blue Yeti X which can literally pickup the noises of ant walking a mile away. Your in depth guide genuinely helped out so much and I legit now have fan and air conditioner blowing right next to the mic yet I sound crystal clear. I literally cannot thank you enough dude!
What's settings do you use??
yoo what settings are you using to remove the AC sound
This helped me out majorly. Thank you my dude
Thank you so much, perfect and straight to the point.

Your video's came in handy a lot!
so Thankyou
I have the same microphone as you and have some fan noise issues because my pc can get quite loud. I will copy these settings and it should help tremendously. The biggest thing making my stream un-professional was that and I can’t wait to fix it
Incredible tutorial and explanation. Thank you very much
omg this is finally the one that helped with my mic settings thank you dude!!!
finally! been needing this.Thank you!
You're welcome thanks for watching!
Can you do lots of videos of filters and voice mods?! Omg I would love these! As always, thank you!
Thanks for the recommendations!
perfect! I have wanted to get away from using noise rnn noise suppressor because it does cut off some laughs or frightened squeals. It's good for general use but to finesse my audio I think a noise gate is better.
This is a very clear guide. Nice!
Thank you for your help! I'm a streamer and I've been trying to work out the little things throughout OBS and I have really clacky keys that I like to hear when typing but not while streaming and a Steam Controller that is obnoxiously loud so I'm hoping I can cut out some of these sounds!
Thank you so much bro you are actually the goat you always help me with setting up my stream!
i live on a farm and got birds, chickens, horses and cows right outside my window and my brother down stairs listening to loud music, this helps a lot thanksss
This guys is helping a lot of aspiring streamers and should be credited more.

Thank you for the informative video. I currently stream in my garage so i pick a lot of road traffic or dogs barking. Hopefully this helps
Glad it was helpful! If you are in a large space like a garage I encourage you to hang up some blankets or acoustic panels to improve the audio.
As usual, awesome video 😉
I usually use noise gate but i have to fine tune it 😋

You're so welcome!
I honestly want to get into recording but nothing I seem to do works to get rid of background noise. I mean yea I could go without my fan...but I don't want to suffer in heat
and be uncomfortable during gameplay :
thank you man i love you
Really helpful! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Hi and thanks for this video. Question... How do you eliminate the voice feedback (echo) from someone playing the same game in the same room? Thanks and keep doing what you do. I've learned so much!
You could run a single mic and have them get their audio through a headset I suppose. Hope this helps!
LIFE SAVER / THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING SOME GREAT ADVICE. BLESSINGS🙏🏿👊🏾🙌♥️👑💪🏾

Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
thanks ! very helpful tips
You are welcome
Your awesome man, thanks!
Thanks buddy
You helped me out, I will help you out by subscribing to you even though this was a old video but still helpful!
Man this is great! I've been wanting to get a condenser microphone but the noise around my house made me take a step back. I might actually get it after this. Can you use this while not streaming/recording? So to say I'm just playing online casually and want to communicate with friends?
You would have to use an audio program for casual gameplay/communication aka something like discord. Look into things like Voice Meter Banana and Nvidia Apps
omfg this helps so much
Tyvm I use this but didn't understand it. Now I do tyvm
You're welcome!
My recommendation for Maono XLR AU-03 is:
Close Threshold: same as in video
Open Threshold: same as in video
Attack Time: same as in video (+/-5~10, but depends, don't recommend to go under 10ms)
Hold Time: 66ms (+/-10ms, but depends)
Release Time: 50ms (+/-5ms, but depends)
Also add a Limiter and set it until you will hear your microphone clearly in your test recordings.
I can hear only my noisy mechanical keyboard which is normal even in mechanical keyboards with silent switches, also if you're able - put your microphone as far as possible from your mouse cause it will prevent catching too much of clicking noise, it still will be audible but there's not much you can do because of specification of this particular microphone.
Thanks for sharing your setup
@@Wild4 *_No problem, sharing is carrying_* 😉😊
anyway - if someone is using REAPER v6.4x/6.5x software I recommend to set :
Attack Time: 25ms (+/-5, depends on REAPER settings)
Hold Time: 100ms (+/-10ms, depends on REAPER settings)
Release Time: 75ms (+/-5ms, depends on REAPER settings)
As I will always say - don't strictly follow the guides, search for your best personalized settings and do an experimentation with various configurations.
Best channel right here!
He he he thanks I appreciate that buddy :)
thank you sir
Finally someone explaining this. I have three kids. I NEED this
Happy to help thanks for watching!
thanks man you helped alot!
Glad I could help!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
You didn't say "Hey guys, it's Wild coming at you!" and it honestly has me kind of shook.
Ha ha ha - gotta throw some curve balls at you sometimes
Thanks for the tutorial. If I set the filter, is it set when I e.g. wanna zoom or just when broadcasting twitch?
If you are using a noise gate with your mic it should work across any platforms you use that mic for. Provided they allow audio filters. Thanks for watching!
Best content and you helped me with the overlay
Glad to help out
@@Wild4 😄
Thanks for the help
Happy to help
I have my Gaming PC into my audio interface, and the mic. Which means what OBS gets on streaming PC is the Mix of Mic/Music/Discord/etc. So I can't clean them individually. If I put a noise gate into my mic, doesn't matter, cuz it's gonna grab gaming sound, and the mic will still be making those fan noises in the back. When the game, music and discord are silent, then the noise gate activates. Then Music goes on, or gaming goes on, and without even talking, there we go fan agains.
Hopefully you still see new comments for this video... 😅
My voice ranges from fairly deep when I'm just talking, to very high pitched when I'm laughing, and my laughs get cut out A LOT. Is there any way to fix this so that my entire vocal range can be heard, but still keeping background noises at bay?
This is amazing but still have issue when i talk, still hear the fan. Need mess about with setting some more but tyty much cheers. 😊
tysm it helps alot
Glad to help thanks for watching!
Can you do one of these videos with Twich Studio?
Ok so this is great and all but this doesn't effect discord or game chat audio correct? So is everyone you are playing with or playing with in game
Awesome.
Thank you! Cheers!
do i have to use obs for streaming or can i use like an equalizer
Thank.....You!
