I bought this for 20+ years, when some salesman came into my high school, almost identical machine, red color for a couple of bucks. At first, I always ended up didn't stitch, sew it properly. I thought that salesman sold me a fake one. I keep it in my closet. Then I finally decided to try to use it back like literally a few mins ago on my bed sheet cover after I stumbled on your video and follow your instructions, it totally works. I couldn't believe it. Thanks a lot. Some faith on humanity restored 😂👍😎
how???
I think we had the same red tiny machine I also thought its fake until now cause I followed the instructions but it ended up only leaving holes😃
As someone who has spent a lot of time sewing, I would recommend removing what you have been sewing first pulling out a good length of thread and then trimming it below the needle so that you can use a long tail to do a Stay Stitch so that it will not come undone.
It looks like a stapler
+Janine Lee haha yeah it does huh
ATTENTION PLEASEEEE. I encountered two possible problems that may be happening to you, this is my first time coming near a sewing machine so please bare with me.
1. The thread MUST go inside the needle (there is a little hole at the end), she didn't show this in the video. (Yeah I know it's probably common sense).
2. The thread must pass through FROM the inside to the outside. If you pass the thread from the outside to the inside the sewing machine will be "feed" in the opposite direction and the force you are applying to it will cause the thread to NOT be sewed and therefore it will only make holes. It may also TRY to sew but it will unravel.
Thank you for the video btw :) nice music too.
paramoreguate what do you mean the thread must pass from inside to outside? which part is the inside? thanks!!!
paramoreguate I didn't understand the second one
thank you
thank you! I just got one and it just would not sew but your 2nd point solved my problem!
Please help me.I cannot do it😭😭
I always wondered about these, I usually see by hand but have recently taken up a hobby that could involve a tiny bit of sewing. I think I will get one having seen how neatly it sews. Thanks!
I just got this machine. This video is incredibly helpful! The trick is to cut the string *before* removing it from the machine so that the thread can be pulled through the bottom loop since there's no bottom bobbin.
*THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!*
place tell me the cost .
But the thread behind the cloth doesn't grab. Also, it doesn't work on some materials.... And sewing straight is not easy. What can I do?
ialso1der e
To everyone saying they cant keep the thread from coming out of the fabric, take the plastic casing off and watch the gears move. There is a hook underneath where the needle jabs in. The string has to catch on that hook. From there you can determine how to properly hold onto the string
Just bought one of those to patch up pocket holes, I had no Idea how to use it.
Thank you kindly, you're a saint and a savior.
for future me and anyone interested, single thread sewing machine are usually employing the "chain stitch" mechanism, which only 1 thread is required. The needle would push the new thread pass a loop that was formed by the previous stitch.
My mom bought me a white one yesterday. Thanks for the demo! :)
I already get this cute machine today which i order from online shopping last week..so long coz its shipping from china..and luckily it works..thank you for this demo..😃😉
I have this coming to me so I have one question. Can you make a back stitch when you’re ready to tie off the ends or do you have to pull out some long thread and tie it off by hand?
Ah Excellent - thank you.
My tip is to keep the fabric tension tight, as it feeds into the machine, to keep the stitches even. :)
I have two of these, vintage. After watching this - I'll stay with hand-sewing, it's easier and quicker. Thank you for uploading.
Just got one and I agree lol
How do you lock the stitches at the beginning and end of the fabric after you're done? or do the stitches automatically lock once you cut thread?
If you use it properly it's a great machine. I was even amazed on how the stitch at the back looks like after
There are actually a variety of particulars like that to take into consideration. That is a great level to bring up. I provide the ideas above as normal inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you deliver up where a very powerful factor will likely be working in sincere good faith. I don?t know if greatest practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly recognized as a fair game. Each boys and girls really feel the influence of just a moment’s pleasure, for the remainder of their lives.
How to use this machine whether it can be stitched for each item
This thing actually works. At the beginning the threads always loosen after I put holes in it, but that was because I was doing it wrong. What I was doing wrong was moving the bottom part of the mechanism. The string won't get loose if you don't move the bottom part and just keep hitting the spring.
How much rs
How much
can't wait to use it to make my outfit smile
Would've never guessed the bottom lifts and that's where the fabric goes. Thanks!
Thanks a bunch!!! I saw one on amazon, and wondered if it was good, because the rating had 3 out of 5 stars. I noticed it only came from 1 person, and they deducted 2 stars because of the directions and how it looked. I was kinda wondering how to use it. Again, thank you very much for the video!
Thanks! it does work without pulling apart afterwards!
I also bought the same machine and I m trying from morning to stitch but it is not at all happening....
I ordered one on eBay for $2.00 (free shipping) for stitching webbing like for dog leashes. I didn't want to drag out and set up the wife's big machine to do some very small jobs, so your demo helped me facilitate my projects. Thanks!
+Spikestrip55 that's awesome to hear!
I want to sew some elastic on to the bottom of a pair of jeans I have to make some jogger pants. So I bought one of these. Do you think it'll help or would it take too long?
Where do you get supplies for this. A coworker bought me one to make masks for my family. I have yet to use it yet
Thanks!!! La compré hoy y ni la menor idea de cómo usarla , gracias por el tutorial. 🎉❤
Im thinking of making a circle skirt with this do you think that this machine can do the trick? Example can you make a piece of clothing out of it and machine wash it without getting ruined?
If you do this way, it will work perfectly! Finally got it:)
+Line Svensen great! :)
Just guessing, for those many unable to get the right performance, experimenting in thread routing may help. Some of them might be cheap clones of the real product. Some might need ajustment of mechanisms, or contain a faulty part or two. Sometimes a bit of lubrication makes an improvement. Mine came inside a used sailboat and is slightly different, white in color, has 'Singer' on one side, and is good quality. And it works well, but will take practice. Thanks for this video, it helped me get started.
Does anyone know why the extra string that you hold to is what the sowing machine is using not the string holder.
This was wonderful! Thank you so much for uploading! I just got one and wasn’t sure how to even begin! But now I know how! :)
I have
You missed out saying the thread needed to go through the hole under the tension controller as well before going through the needle :)
CazKiwi NZ Did it work for you? Mine hasn't, I think I may be threading it the wrong way
CazKiwi NZ + Seems you might be right. Worth a try.
Finally! A proper demo...thank you!
thank you for watching :)
Sweetness ♥ I agree with them, thanks for sharing this.
Works great. Good for doing light sewing
how do you tie up the end? like after you cut it off the machine?
It works. I learned something. Thank you sooooo muchhh
So many people in the comments say "thread it from the inside to the outside" without any context other than that so many people still don't understand. But you have to make sure the needle is positioned so that the hole is facing the interior where the large spring is, and thread it into the needle from that direction.
how to tie at the end
Aww nice, I just got mines, the setup was good, this helped.
the needle on mine fell out, do you know how to get it stuck?
The normal sewing machine have two spools of thread. One above and one below. The above one punch through and create a loop under the fabric. The spool below put a thread through this loop and hold the sewing in place, preventing it from unravel.
Does it take a while to see things because like a stapler u have to move you hand up and down every stitch or can u just keep your hand pressed on it and it continues.
it can't, you have to keep on pressing continuously
I have copied what was exactly done in the video but mine keeps cutting the thread suddenly. I cant even stitch for long (does not even reach 1 cm). What am I doing wrong?
Nothing is pulling the string out from underneath so when I finished the whole thing just fell right out. Shouldn’t there be another thread underneath?
How do you tie this thing off when you're done?
Mine won't work I got for one of my birthday's a few years ago but couldn't read the instructions but mine still won't work anyway the thread keeps coming out how do I fix it?
on mine, the bottom thread won't catch. How do I fix it?
Yyyaaayyy. Thank you so much. I just got one and an excited to use it
thank you so much for this tutorial❤😊 I love it
guys this machine works just fine... though the stiching isnt thwt much good but its better than hand seweing... if you faced problem with the thread just make sure you followed everything correct and if th3 thread comes out then tight cut the thread in the end and do back stitch or tight the stitch by sew .this machine saves time if you ar3 sewing with a needle.good luck
I tried many times but can't do...the thread comes out😢
me too
Is it useless then?
Today it's for 200 INR something on Club factory app. I was curious if it really works since I don't trust the app
You need to thread the needle from inside out
Mine is also stich is not proper, thread is coming out, waste of money don't buy it from club factory
@@navinsanil4083 true
how we can finish it,i also buy this product but with out proper finishing the thread was move what i can do
Yo masin kaha pain6
sometimes the whenever i press the machine .. it works most of the time but sometimes the thread doesnt bites the cloth
Could you please, make another video and sew 1m length?
Yes i have the same... Yhanks for this vedio... I like machine its only use for some little purposes.. Not big projects
Very cool, but if I had one, I don't think I'd ever use it, I have a sewing machine for medium to large projects and I'm confident enough in hand sewing for smaller projects. What do you use it for?
just for mending small tears ;)
I have thread the needle, but it's not working, I mean there is no stitch I want to know y this will happen..
thank you for that. now i'm going to buy one now that i know that actually work
Where can I get this machine
Thank you for this! I just got mine but I couldn't understand the instructions as it was written in Chinese.
Thank you so much now I know how it works I've been using mine VERY incorrectly
How to tie the thread so that it does not comes out easily??
I have one just like u but when i go to sew there is no back line
Same device but my stitches keep coming off. Any help please?
Some of you here whinge that it doesn't work because you don't follow instructions calm down, relax, take your time and read all the instructions and then try out the machine. That was what I did and the thing worked well for me.

I'm still not sure how to end the thread... I'm facing the same problem as the other user who says it can all come off with a tug >< any suggestions? Is it because we're supposed to tie a knot at the beginning and end or something? I feel like I'm missing out some steps that's why the thread can come out :(
you only need to tie at the end, but not the beginning! :)
OMG My parents got me this from turkey, but the instructions fell out somehow... I thought I would never find out how to use it TYSMMMMMM
+Yuusraa I'm glad you found my video! :)
+Sweetness ♥ it doesn't work at all, tryed many times not useful at all.😥

I just got one ad it's not working, I don't know If its broken or It's me who didn't know how to use it. anyway Im taking it back to the shop tomorrow.
This looks very cool but it seems like it would take a. Dry long time to sew something.
it's not meant for big projects, in fact it's meant for quick sewing for small mends!
Ahhhh that makes sense!
is this available in kathmandu nepal now?
Pretty neat, I figured this out quickly
Can somebody help how to lock the last stitch at the end, it unravels
Thank you! this works great
Found a solution to this thing
After finished the stitch u will find two ends on thread one from where u begin and one from where u cut off
If u tie the end separately so they can't go through the holes they came in from the stitch stays
Just a little loop hole I found ;>
It's because I was having trouble as the stitch gets undone every single time
I have the exact same one in blue. Thanks so much for the instructions. I will fix my pants now. Hehe
That's it! Thanks... i had a hard time figuring it out... now i can do some repairing... 😺
Julaidah Mastura-Glang glad it helped! :)
the only thing it needs to hold the end thread for a good tension. otherwise, it'd fall apart in short time.
OK guys it never worked for me just watching the video.. I watched this video like 5times but still never figured how to thread the needle... I figured it out by reading your comments... thanks... you need to thread from the inside and the extra thread that comes out of the needle should go to the same direction the stitch goes.. so if you stitching from left to right it should be on the right side... and vise versa... at the end of the stitch just make multiple of stitches at the same place your last stitch ends.. I hope this helps...
@cleo candy I've tried it your way but my thread isn't catching underneath the fabric!! So the thread goes through the material, but just leaves a loop behind and does the same again. There's nothing catching and threading through the loop under the fabric to create the actualy stitch, so when I remove the fabric, the stitching just comes undone!!
Ayse Inal + You can keep trying to figure it, or find a sewing machine repair man. Can't be much wrong, not much there, Ha! Be blessed in it.
I found it very much useful for me

@@redtshirtgaming4418 did you ever figure out how to fix your problem? I'm having the same problem
Does pressing the handheld sewing thing continuously leave an ache in your fingers afterwards?
u can buy the 4aa battries one if ur hands are very lazy to move
How much you got it for?
What's background song
???
Lovely how much is it
You have to run it to the hook thing inside after the tension control
Thanks sweetness for the demo. I have one question though. I understand that this tool is meant for quick sewing of smaller mends. But are those smaller mends as good and strong as the mends made by a proper sewing machine ? I hope they don't come off easily if we wash the cloth or if there is regular wear and tear.
I need to sew Velcro loop and hook on most of my shorts to lock the pockets. Would I be able to do that using this Stapler sewing tool ?
hi! The stitches will definitely not be as strong as a proper sewing machine; this handheld one is just meant for quick fixes. It will still be recommended to ultimately reinforce with a proper sewing machine when you can get your hands on one!
Sweetness ♥ Ok Thank you for the reply..
why are u all complaining? it works
Thank you for this video, couldn’t work it out before, as the instruction is not clear!
Filipina Married To An Aussie you’re welcome! :)
It was really useful 👍💕 the instruction on the box was confusing me
I just got the same machine today and i was lost on how to use it as i have never used one before, and the instructions on this are ??????what?????? anyway thank you soooooooooooo much for this i will have a good go now.
can this sew thru a flannel?
What am I exactly supposed to do at the "Past the Tension Controller" part?
bogie Bobis + See above instructions.
Thanks for demo.😊
What happens if only long attachment
Kiitos paljon hyvästä videosta. Minä opin ompelemaan tällaisella koneella. 🌹
wow.i love it this machine
Thank you so much
hey! this is pretty cool! it'd probably help with hand stitching, but then again, I dunno... cool concept though
Could it be used to make doll(like barbie dolls) dresses? I have a sewing machine at home but I don't know how to use it :( and also it's big!
I meant all sort of clothes* in a doll size :P
Yes you can but get better string the strings that comes with the set is really weak and as soon as I tug a little it snapped
Don't it hurt hands after long use?
