- Take a musical journey through all Harry Potter movies. This medley contains 12 of the best Harry Potter soundtracks from all of the movies. I tried my best to pick the best themes which was really hard because there are a lot of amazing soundtracks from legends John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat. I hope you enjoy this video and the new visuals I added, let me know if you like this better than my previous videos or not :)

The fact that 6 out of these 12, literally half the video, were composed by John Williams despite him only working on the first three films really showcases how masterful of a composer he really is. Really, other than Umbridge's Theme and Dumbledore's Army, no other theme that wasn't composed by Williams really sticks out to me as memorable or whimsically magical.
I can only imagine how much more cohesive and legendary the series would be if all of the people involved with the first two films had all stuck it out all the way through. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the series significantly dropped in magic after the first two films (with the loss of director Chris Columbus and Richard Harris as Dumbledore), and then really fizzled out completely after the third (when we lost John Williams).
