    I would have to camp out in the bathroom too. Poor Sandy and I’m so serious. I’m the same way . Doctors and hospitals and procedures scare me to death. I had to have an open MRI because I couldn’t stay in the tube.

    I can drink black coffee but like you only if it's flavored and sweetened. Plain coffee has to have cream. I'm sorry you are having a difficult time. Hope all your tests come out well

    Glad its over for you. I'm so thankful they always have knocked me out during both the upper and lower GI, I've had several of them and the last time the pharmacy told me to pull around because the jug wouldn't fit in the drive through box...dang I didn't know I could ask for something different...

    Phew! I'm sooooo glad you're through the procedure now & can heal from it & learn what's next, Sandy! I hope & pray that whatever is diagnosed will give you knowledge & help to care for yourself better. Finding out what's happening in your body is never easy, but knowledge is power & I've found it then helps me work out what next with better strategies. Sending big hugs, prayers & 🥰blessings from South Australia💕🐨

    I cannot believe they don’t knock you completely out for both of them. 😳 I just had them both done about 6 months ago and was 100% out for it. You definitely have to camp out in the bathroom for the prep. I’ve been in denial about my possible Chron’s. She wanted me to try a medication and I didn’t want to just yet so I put it off. I am having a lot of symptoms so I really need to make an appointment. It sucks. I hope and pray your don’t have to thing you showed. 🙏🏻 I love you lady. 🥰🤗💜

    Hang in there and make sure you do all the prescription drink. My sister didn't and they did the procedure then told her her system wasn't cleared out enough and she had to do it all over again 2 weeks later. Good luck these procedures are not fun but so important.

    What an ordeal! My colonoscopy prep was a nightmare and after all that, the scope was unsuccessful and i haven’t been back since. My doctor thinks i might have diverticulitis, or diverticulosis, and there is really nothing to be done about it. I get bad pain on my left side after i eat but it only happens maybe once per month and i cannot figure out any particular food that triggers it. Not sure if you have same thing. Good for you for getting both the scopes done. 😊

    I am surprised they didn't give you a protein drink. I am with you that stuff is so nasty to drink, and they expect you to take that whole jug down. Going through these is a pain in the butt I will keep you in my prayers and hope everything turns out good!

    I had to do the clean out for my original colonoscopy then twice more for the surgeries following. Had different prep each time, but they all had the same results! So glad that's all done with! I got some adult underwear (I just call 'em diapers!) for the accidents. I still have issues, left over from the surgeries, so I deal with them all the time. ugh. Love you and hope all results are good.

    Take electrolytes: sodium, magnesium and potassium that’s why u feel like shiit. Plus don’t eat any high fibre foods or any foods or liquids that have gfoid colouring in them. My husband was told all this before his colonoscopy. Another reason you feel ill, is your body is still burning carbs. It takes the earliest three days to convert the body to use ketones. Hang in there. ❤

  • @KrissD.
    @KrissD. Před rokem

    Girl I never do well at all with colonoscopies. No matter how much prep I’ve done to their instructions they always tell me I wasn’t cleaned out completely and plus they never give me enough of sedation meds.. I tell them it takes a lot to put me under cause of my tolerance to pain meds.. I take a lot but they never listen to me.
    I know these are important to do but I just don’t know if I can go through them again.
    I feel for you completely sweetheart.
    And definitely our spouses get to know us inside and out all the way during this stuff.. lol 😝 my husband has seen it all. It is embarrassing no matter what and who it is going through this with us… last thing u want is to share this much of your self with ur spouse. Not very romantic 🫣
    Lol
    On another note about the furls hook and you emailing customer service about yours… I’m actually surprised they haven’t gotten back to you yet.. I’ve always had prompt response from them. Have they gotten back to you yet?
    Was it on weekend when u emailed them?
    I know ur testing is over by now the time I’m watching this right now but I hope you are feeling somewhat better. ❤
