    I wish we would have had access to fellas like this giving so much info on LEO vehicle equipment when I EOD ed in 1983, we had to ask other public servants, and accept whatever the XO office purchased for the front line patrol vehicles. These fellas work, so we'll together and can practically speculate our concerns, God willing I retire in 3 years when my youngest finishes law school, But thank you gentleman for all the phenomenal observations on all this critical equipment.

    It's so nice! I'd love to get the solo but i think I'm going to go with an all feniex setup.

    Nice dashlight

    This light seems interesting to me for a project that i plan to do in the future ! I'm just between Whelen or Federal Signal which are both similar ! the application that will be used only allows to use blue lights so both options would be suitable ! blue is the default color for Police and Fire Department in most of Europe ! Maybe i would buy the classic siren Federal Signal Unitrol (Touchmaster Delta) or modern version of it the Pathfinder that allows to program different sounds and so I can have some unique sirens that will draw attention in the application of a fire truck !

    I am considering buying a new dash light, upgrading from my star signal mini phantom starburst to something brighter that can grab more attention. What dash light would you most recommend?

    If the end leds could be set up to use as a take down mode and let the middle heads flash i could see this new design bein usful, but for the price i think the first trip was a better light. Ive been look for a trip that looked like the talan and cant find one anywhere.

    Question for Chris, I recently purchased
    2 of the avn ii solo's for my personal vehicle. I had them one week and they failed on me while changing flash patterns. That simple, I was changing patterns and all of a sudden nothing.
    Sent them back to Whelen and they cannot quite figure out what is wrong or why. What I have be informed with so far is that the lights can be sent back but I can not use Action Scan.
    That is one of the flash patterns right?

  • @gennaropiarulli7073

    On the solo design, is there any takedown feature or are they not available yet?

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  Před 7 lety +1

      The SOLO version has just a single mode so it can all LEDs together, or alternate flash the two sides, or steady burn the whole light. Steady burn on an all White SOLO is as close to a true takedown as you can get.

      No, the problem with catalogs is that by the time that they are printed and delivered, some of the information in them is often already obsolete. For the absolute latest on product pricing, features, and specifications visit our website at: www.sirennet.com/

    Really not impressed with this light. Significantly less intense lighting in the blue color compared to my Dual Avenger super LED. I really like how it's much thinner and less weight compared to previous avengers so it fits where I want it but the output is disappointing. Nothing against Sirennet, just bummed by Whelen.

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  Před 7 lety

      Its tuff to pit the two against each other when comparing the TRIO to a conventional with full single color modules. In the Avenger II Trio, Whelen's only firing 6 diodes on each side in Blue where your AVN2BB is blasting away 9 diodes per-module.

      Makes sense.
