The well is manufactured to regulate the water level in the sedimentation pond. But the sealing between the various parts of the well is leaking.
This pond is just one in a whole system along this highway.
Here we assist the buyer, contractor and well manufacturer in their quest to find the cause.
The excavator is a Cat 313 FL

In California if we had to do an emergency job in the winter like this, we would probably have to put large drain rock down to build a road out there, build rock pads to work from, spend a week setting up erosion control and sediment traps before even putting the rock down, and then fill the entire hole back in with gravel, put erosion control over around the entire site, and leave it until late spring when we could come back and remove all the rock, truck out the dirt piles, grade the site, and then cover it in hay.
Then the following year in the spring we could remove the erosion control fences and such...
Having that bucket is pretty much the only way that you could finish a job like that in the winter, and it's awesome to watch you work!

@@HedblomSwe while most in cab videos put the camera on the left side, so you get a better view of the bucket, I loved seeing it from this side, because you could see YOU operating it better, and see aspects that you rarely get to see on other channels, and for me, how you operate the controls is of particular interest, so this was a perfect angle.
If it was the only angle you used, it would suck lol, but I would love to see more from this angle, possibly some at normal speed, just to see the controls.
And then maybe some from the other side to see the other angle too.
Basically, there's no bad angle, if it's not the entire length of the video!

How its the cat working we had one the engine broke down after two years just out of the warranity we sold it repair would cost us a half.of new one we are still on hitachi as it was before the best hidraulics for me.

Are you always driving with the excavator to your building sites or do you also use a trailor anf a truck
We move the equipment with a trailer or on a truck.
But out on the work site we usually try to park a little hidden because of diesel thieves.

Actually not. The job is for the original contractor and the well manufacturer. The warranty period is soon over and everything must work at the handover.
