NGL it took a while for him to grow on me. When he was the guy getting slapped by fighters and crying over Dana White rejecting him I thought he was a Brendan Schaub kinda guy.
Now I think he's the best journalist in combat sports. Very knowledgeable and professional

@@jax9466 he just simply means that the P4P #1 and #2 havent fought in MMA, usually since it is impossible, but regardless it's cool to see it happen here since it leaves no question at all. It's not a slight on the UFC, it's just true haha and cool that it was able to happen here. The UFC would make it happen if the circumstances were right, but they just haven't been yet so this is cool.

I loved the beginning of the interview especially. VERY important. Just my 2 cents...i got my first legit job at 19yo. Fell in love with the company. Rose through 3 departments and stood there 13+ years. Made good money and had no children BUT i was working myself to death and suffered a Stroke early 30's. I agree with HEARN, balance is a must. You cant just work, work, work and you can't just party, party, party. NOW I feel like true success comes from Peace & Happiness. You'll never have enough money so chase HAPPINESS & PEACE ✌️

Longtime watcher, first time commenter. I love how clear cut Hearn is; he's not afraid to talk good about his competitor's fighters (Fury) and talk down his own fighter (AJ). He's not afraid to point out that at present AJ is not an all-time great boxer, and Fury could be one. You would never hear that from Dana.
He will put spin on things. But only just enough. I don't recall him ever laying it on thick, Fury style.
Eddie’s interviews are amazing….So much knowledge and expertise…
I went to two UFC events, and I can attest to Hearn's statement about how fast they go from one fight to another.

Eddie Hearn is a brilliant guy. He does his job as a promoter and sometimes can be delusional lol. But underneath the promoters coat, there’s a brilliant guy who loves the sport of boxing, and it’s damn refreshing to listen to.

It’s cringe when Ariel acts like he’s not biased, and clearly not sincere. At least Hearn has the self awareness of the situation and gives Dana credit despite Ariel’s passive aggressive question.
Eddie now is like Dana 10 years ago. Dana isn't that guy anymore.

The reason boxing fans are MUCH more respectful after a bad knockout is due to the large number of deaths in boxing. For those who don’t know there are probably 3-4 each year so it’s protocol not to celebrate when your opponent is unconscious. Pray God it never happens in the UFC but if it does I imagine that would change too.
