There was until I reckon about 2014 a stronger rivalry between us (Blues) and you lot (Wolves) than we had with West Brom. And I think much of that was a shared hatred of villa we had with them and we sort of reciprocated it where Wolves were concerned. But a few things changed it for me personally and I reckon that in most of these cases it's the same for other Bluenoses.... 1. Wolves went down to league 1 and not only weren't a threat anymore but I would say that that particular plummet got rid of any diluded arrogance that you lot maybe still had. In other words once you came up to championship again you were more likeable and didn't treat yourselves too seriously. 2. The more West Brom spent in the premier with villa always doing terribly and then being relegated, THEY became slightly arrogant. 3. West Brom and their fans changed from being down to earth to actually a bit plastic like other clubs. 4. Although your club has been smartened up, I think there's now a respect between proper clubs that still exist. Hence why our rivalry with Millwall has all but gone and we all like each other now. 5. We don't play you lot any more but Albion we play regularly. And then there's a number 6 for me personally which is that my kids all decided to support Wolves so I want you guys doing well for their sake.
Great video! I think Wolves could use this as evidence that we behaved ourselves and it was the Albion fans causing all the trouble, chucking stuff and fighting the police.
The jimmy saville lookalike was the one who kicked the coloured bloke in his back over in the corner,when the stewards and police were trying to calm it all down.
I never realised how soft Wolves fans were! Good job they had an escort after the match. Even that WB family section wanted to take you apart! Wolves won on the pitch WB won everything else...
