Sam Presti is a freaking wizard, man. He drafted four hall of famers in three years once already, and he's looking like he's gonna do something like that again. đ This new young team looks talented, together and hungry. Can't wait to see what the years ahead hold for them.

Totally agree. To be honest when we talk about this young Thunder team we always make references about how the old Thunder team blew up as a sorta cautionary tale. interesting what if scenario. Kawhi + shai + all those assets?? If you consider the quality role players the clippers have right now despite their lack of assets after the PG trade, can't imagine how good this roster could have been after converting all those assets if they never traded for PG
You trade young and talented for a player who always seems to come up small when it matters. PG has always been over rated. A terrible trade for one team and highway robbery for another OKC. Straight up it was a steal. Add in the 1st rounds you have to ask what were the Clippers doing. SGA did get better. But you could see the talent even then. You could see what you were getting in PG. You should never make that trade PG is a player that wins you nothing. He's proved that his whole career.

Honestly this okc team reminds me of the old okc team when Durant n crew first played their first playoff game n was given teams some issues early on. I just hope okc capitalize this beautiful rebuild with a championship. They deserve it for a small market team that continues to build through trades n drafts n hit on all of them. U jus have to admit Sam pristi is one of the best gms n the league

OKC has won 3 straight games against the Nuggets, so it seems a bit silly to be confident the series wouldn't be competitive.
Obviously winning 3 straight and dominating the Nuggets in Denver in the regular season doesn't mean OKC wins in the playoffs, but based on the knowledge available it isn't rational to assume the series wouldn't at least go 5 or 6 games.@@book70

SGA should def be mvp, he been doing this all season..lowkey he been balling last year too
SGA is MVP this year. I don't care about triple-doubles or ridiculous stat lines, Jokic is great but he's in years deep into a run with a unit of guys that includes a star in Jamal Murray and borderline stars in AG and MPJ and lotsa of depth.
Doncic has Kyrie - a legit star and former champ and perennial all-star -- and lots of versatilty and depth.
SGA has no legit stars outside of SGA. They have guys who will most likely become stars, but it's such a young team that it becomes even more impressive to see SGA grow as a leader and an elite superstar.
People love the stat lines, see SGA's assist numbers and think a PG needs 10/gm - the offense OKC runs stems from Shai manipulating the defense with every move in the 2K animations lists as the other guys cut and flash open, then rinse and repeat - they tire out the defenses and frustrate them to no end.
And OKCS home court is just as big an advantage as Denver - they had the same home/road records this year and OKC won the tiebreak by going 3-1 against the Nuggets.
SGA led the league in steals, averaged just shy of 1 block/game and scored more efficiently in the paint than most bigs did this season. I have a feeling the media will go with Luka, which I want to see someday - but not this season. SGA is in the infancy of leading this rebuild and they would not have sniffed a number one seed without him, potentially they wouldn't make the playoffs without him.

This big 3 seems better than the old one. Chet is a taller version of Durant. Sga is taller than westbrook and a better shooter. Jalen Williams seems more humble than Harden, so he is less likely to leave for a bigger paycheck.

Everyone thought Chet would get murdered in the NBA because of what you saw in college. You have to cash those picks. Right now, OKC is cashing them. Boston had all those picks too after they drafted Tatum. And have cashed none. Having picks doesn't mean you'll be good. The GM has cashed picks more times than not in OKC. A team should offer him the moon to be their GM. He doesn't get any credit on just how good he is. They only thing stopping him is a cheap owner in OKC. He's now built two very good young teams. One went to waste because the owner wouldn't pay. Now this team. It could be over quickly if he doesn't pay:) He only need to hit a 2 out of 18 first rounds he has left now, and this team will be scary. Baring injuries for the next 5 years this team is going to be one tough out in the playoffs.
