They actually have a choreographer, but some of the members sometimes participate in the choreography

They work generally 4 to 8 hrs a day, depending on what appearances on the public they have. When training for Idol, they trained up to 12 hrs a day

Although the members are indeed involved in composing, producing and choreographing their songs (and they are getting more and more involved) there are still other composers, producers and choreographers doing a big part of the job. There are some producers of the company that take part in nearly all of their songs (especially Pdogg and Slow Rabbit) and since 2015 some of their songs were choreographed by foreign choreographers as well (most notably Keone Madrid, who recently joined the Kinjaz, [Dope; Fire; Blood, Sweat & Tears; Not Today] and the Quickstyle Crew [Save Me; Blood, Sweat & Tears]).
There are few dances where they made choreography themselves but, yeah, mostly it's their choreographer Son Sung Deuk makes it.
lol I had the same reaction as you guys did ....(I'm 58 and have never seen a group dance like that, in sync, through an entire song) it is hard to find a word good enough to describe how impressed I was with how on point they are in every performance, the amount of practice you just know they had to have put in to be able to dance like that and still have the breath to sing and sing really well is...just....pretty impressive. You have to respect what they've accomplished no matter who you are.

Actually they do not make their own choreography, they have a choreographer named Son Sung Deuk who recently won Choreographer of the Year

J-Hope also helps most of the time too. He's very strict on the bands dancing performance (surprisingly since he's always so bubbly) he helps produce most of the choreography.

"They're feeling the music" no, they created the music and transformed it into a godly dance.
I LOVE the way they use symmetry, how they do position changes, how in sync all the members are with each other and how clean all of their moves are. They work SO hard and deserve every bit of praise they get
I've watched Danger dance practice alot of times but I'm still blown away by how well-executed their choreography is, along with their epic music and everything else~

they do their own songs BUT they don't really do their choreography they just participate in making it a bit
they don't "do" all their own songs either, they rather help with their composing, mostly rapmon, and suga.
Markstop thatshit Actually Rapmon and Suga "do" songs but the other members write lyrics and melodies
c10guk - yeah yeah, I was meaning to say that, they sometimes make songs but mostly they aren't alone in the composing process. And sometimes the other members write songs too I think, like Taehyung?
Yeah Hobie writes melodies well, the members said that ofc lyrics too but yep the other members participate too

I hate to tell you this but they don't make their choreo for their songs, but some of them can choreograph dances to other songs that are not their own

I'm pretty sure that Jungkook helped with 21st century girl, at least that's what it said in an article about it (and he and Jimin choreographed their little aegyo part in that themselves as well) and Baepsae also seems to be heavily influenced by them.

they have a choreographer in their company and for some of their videos they hire some choreographers from the U.S. like Keone Madrid of the Kinjaz in L.A. if you know him. I think it's right that they should be given credit to. BTS mems are great dancers, but since they cant focus mainly on dancing they have to hire choreographers. One of the member is the choreography leader meaning he's the one in charge of making sure the choreos are done right by the members. although they participate they dont do choreography mainly.
I see you are reacting to my babies BTS. I know right they are awesome and so clean. It's amazing that during their concerts they sing and dance like this at the same time. That takes talent. I would be out of breath to sing while dancing like this.
They're so great because they practice like 6 hours a day for more than a month moreover these boys have been living eating and working together for 4 years now and during this video it would have been 2 years. They are very tuned to each other they cover each other's weaknesses and uphold their strength. These guys are one of the best Kpop groups today one of the most talented.
