Magnacut is pretty sweet. I'm surprised how easily it strops and sharpens for being so tough. You can go a very long time of daily use before it even needs stropped. You should be able to find a local kydex shop in your area otherwise you'll have to ship the knife to whoever you pick and wait a couple of weeks to get it back. My local shop had my knife/sheath ready the next day. There's another knife channel that I watch called 5 Minute Knives, fun channel and he makes fancy kydex if you want to check him out. He's a dork, in a good way.
You want the patina. What's a knife if it doesn't show a little charecter. A2 steel is the best for that.
