@@lenzoltan Luka had a great individual postseason this year, probably the best individual one. But jokic and Giannis are both multi time MVPs and champions. Luka had a hall of famer as his costar this season and made it to the finals but last season also had that hall of famer and missed the postseason altogether
When I seen Jokic at #2 I cringed. No way is Luka better. Like nah. Jokic basically doesn’t everything better. Easily. Plus just won a championship last year. Nobody has surpassed him since.
Mac sucks as a host
1. I’m an Embiid hater, I guess, but putting him at 10 is crazy. I’d have him at 4.
2. Curry way too high. So much emphasis on “clutch”. Wouldn’t you rather not be in clutch situations? They were in tight games because their team is not that good, and I’m sorry, curry looked to be declining towards the end of the year. Love him, he’s awesome, but in a list about RIGHT NOW, there’s only one guy on this list whose team missed the playoffs entirely, and it’s Steph curry.

@@owmegwoagm No context bc Giannis didn’t play in these playoffs bc he got injured so his opportunity to potentially get to the NBA Finals was taken away from him due to injuries and Jokic obviously lost in round 2 and there’s no denying that but with that being said Giannis and Jokic have already shown they could lead their respective teams to the Finals and win the championship and Luka obviously hasn’t won a championship yet and doesn’t have the accolades that Giannis and Jokic have individually so to me Luka would be 3rd behind those two guys in terms of best players in the world.

@@lenzoltan Every time he loses we say he didn’t have any help, he clearly had more than enough help this season to get to the Finals bc Kyrie played at an All-Star level both in the regular season and playoffs, And his role players like Gatford, and Washington helped make that team better bc of their abilities to block shots and catch lobs and the other players they had on the roster played their roles as well bc after the trade deadline the Mavs were playing elite top notch defense and the offense started clicking as well into the playoffs and they reached the Finals but now when they lose we say Luka didn’t have enough help but his defensive deficiencies and poor conditioning was apart of why the lost in the NBA Finals bc he got exploited and taken advantage of on the defensive end so we can’t blame teammates and say they should shoulder all of the blame when Luka’s weaknesses were also why they lost and he’s got to get better and even if they slightly upgrade the roster next season if he doesn’t improve on his weaknesses and deficiencies defensively and if he doesn’t get his body in peak shape and conditioning the result will be the same again next season which is not winning a championship.
@@lenzoltan You must hold Luka accountable and hold him to a standard and not make excuses for him every time he gets exposed or comes up short bc this Mavs team he had this season was by far the best team he’s played on in his career and they were a legitimate championship contending team as they’ve shown throughout these playoffs and really since the trade deadline so he had more than enough but the Celtics were better and they were able to expose Luka’s deficiencies and weaknesses and The Mavs had no answer so Luka has to get in the lab this offseason and improve so he could get to that next level of greatness and they’ve already made a move to slightly improve the roster and that’s add another sharp shooter to give Luka more spacing on the court and that’s obviously Klay Thomson and they might add more pieces between now and the trade deadline so the Mavericks organization has done right by Luka since the Kyrie trade and now he’s got to continue to get better and work on his Game and conditioning plain and simple

Held the celtics to 84 points in a game though, it’s not like the celtics were lighting it up he played fine on defense. No one was talking about his defense when they smoked the t wolves.

Luka was getting cooked ply after play. They would put him in actions, and target him relentlessly. He was the weak link on Def. As for the T-Wolves, he guarded Rudy Gobert. Rudy isn't an offensive threat at all
