I still don't understand why Russian don't bring additional manpower to Kharkiv. They clearly have it yet they refuse to use it. The current situation shows with heavy artillery support even a much smaller forces can have limited success. Maybe western weapon strikes in Russian territory do have an impact how much they can support their frontline. Or maybe it the Russian goal from the start. Confusing.
The Kharkov part of the SMO serves the purposes of enemy force diversion and meatgrinding. Putin himself said there are no specific plans of taking Kharkov. I will not be surprised if another similar thing starts in Sumy or somewhere between and the front line is further extended. As things are, an extended front line will favour Russia, as because of this new part of the front we see Ukraine shuffle brigades around as if Russia wants to drive them dizzy or something.

I wonder what the Crimean residents, especially the Crimean Tatar who were fast-tracked to repatriate and denounce their Uzbek citizenship to Crimea, think of all of these recent attacks and the occupation of Crimea by the RF in 2014? They were issued with Ukrainian citizenship, but with a strange restriction of being able to reside only in Crimea? Between 150K-300K Crimean Tatars were able to return from their Stalinist deportation. Does Crimea still hold the status of an autonomous self-rule and what is the position of their parliament, the Mejlis? If correct, this autonomy did not include Sevastpol and Odessasta? What is the relationship of the Tatars to Turkey? Other deported peoples were not assisted in their return to the multi-ethnic/-religious/-lingustic peninsula, like the Greeks, Mesketian Turks, Germans. Although, most Germans deported mainly to Kazakstan and Siberia were able to ”return” to Germany. Similarly to the descents of the Finns, Karelians, Ingrians to Finland by proving that at least one of their grand-parents were marked by their ethnicity on the former SU passports. Out of all the formerly deported peoples, the Chechens, the Ingush etc were allowed to ”return” to their former places of origin in the RF, except the Volga Germans? Anyway, since the approach of (imputed/perceived) approach to citizenship acquisition and return, probably those wanting to return to so-called homelands, at least in regard to Germans and Finns, moved to Germany (300K-600K?) and to Finland? It was bizarre that through their advocy efforts, the Crimean Tatars could obtain a status as the indigenous peoples of Crimea while others were not? Could anyone share some information or uodates on what is going on in Crimea?

DPA thinks it’s diversion. The fact the Russians are sending fewer soldiers in the Northern "offensive", the Ukrainians are forced to send more troops into the area away from Eastern front. With the Russian advantage of having heavy weaponry that can easily decimate large troops in the area. Satellites show the Russians are digging in trenches again a few hundred yards from the front, preparing for the next Ukrainian counter-offensive this summer.
Ukraine continue to find "volunteers", Russia starts new attacks to force them to respond with men and resources so they don't have time to adequately train and prepare a reserve force.
After the speech duel between Biden and Trump, the last one should also understand that this conflict will never end on the terms of Russia.

Ukrainian army is armed to the teeth with U.S./NATO weapons and are trained by NATO. As long as Putin continues these little cross-border raids like Vovchansk they won’t make any significant gains on the battlefield. Putin should had sent at least 60,000 troops there and now they are digging in and Ukraine has deployed enough forces to prevent any further advances.

Russian army could have easily prevented 50% of casualties in battlefield.For example during the storming of enemy stronghold,the Russian military used dozens of tanks,IFV,armored vehicles waves after waves knowing that enemy had huge number of western anti tank weapons like javelin,Nlaw,FPV drones,Precision guided artillery munitions.But still they were sending waves after waves of attack which is very vulnerable to enemy ambush.Russian military could have atleast deploy huge number of Suicide borne vehicles,remote control tanks to storm enemy positions,which will have helped Russian army to clear landmines and also identify the locations of antitank positions.This could have saved many lives and equipment.Also Russian army should have deploy special shot gun to counter enemy FPV drones,Russian army had spend so much time and resources in developing Electronic jammers against FPV drones which was not really effective.Had Russian army develop special shot gun to counter enemy FPV drones,they could have saved many lives.

That’s the same strategy that the Ukrainians did in their counter-attacks loosing countless Bradleys and Leopards. The Russians sends older remote tanks first as suicide vehicle to trip all the mines and anti-tank rockets. Most of the newer Russian tanks usually survives multiple Javelin or Atgm hits and usually run back to safe ground (most pro-Ukrainian videos like to edit the hits, not showing the the tanks surviving with the crew safe)
You’ll notice there are now quite fewer and fewer Javelins or Ukrainian Atgm videos unlike in 2022 where there loads of them. This goes in direct results of reported news that European and US militaries have used up their extra reserves and are in it’s minimum quota that their own military might need and manufacturing is quite slow
Shooting drones with "special" shot-guns doesn’t work, in-spite Western military demo in staged practices. There are multiple videos showing Ukrainian soldiers trying to shoot down Russian drones before being blown up.
