I am making my own overall dress out of jeans the fabric I’m adding to the overalls is kind of like a tie-dye look so I’m hoping this would help blend the jeans to the pattern
You need to soak the jeans in 3:1 parts hydrogen peroxide after bleaching to stop the bleaching process.
or white vinegar for 12 hours.
@@offwiththefairies77 so to be clear, I do everything in this step, but after the 2 hour bleach soak I do a 12 hour white vinegar soak than wash?
Niceeeeee

I had some black-red Jeans when i was a kid.
Nice video!

The In fashion of 1983.
Oooh girl, I hope you neutralized that bleach after rinsing!
With vinegar in the wash right??? Because that's all I did lol! Lmk if there should be an extra step added
@@coppercreekpatterns Never use vinegar to neutralize bleach! It will turn it into much more caustic and dangerous chemicals, which is very damaging to textiles, and if the pH gets low enough it turns into deadly chlorine gas. Use sodium metabisulfite if you can find (most economical choice) or alternatively you can use Sodium thiosulfate or 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Wait what i just do it out doors
neutralized bleach after rising what that mean ?
Ahahahahah
I dont understand. what do you mean bucket with 3 parts water and 1 bleach?
It’s the water to bleach ratio. If you use 3 cups water, add 1 cup bleach. Or 3 quarts water, add one quart bleach.
