A small note on Aran: Their combo counter doesn't just disappear anymore like it did when they came out. It ticks down now so you don't lose all of your combo right away! Just wanted to clarify in case anyone was deterred by that.

Pink Bean has only been available twice and is only available to play for a few weeks while his event goes on so you can't really "main" him. I only ever have just enough time to get him to 200 before it ends.

still its mediocre warrior class, its like middle child, tanky, but doesn't have the high end damage, rather main hero or dark knight
Threaten will easily change all that by letting you do more 50% damage

Kaiser: "I used to be with it, but they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what's it seems weird and scary."

Oh hey, I know that guy :'] Ty for the showcase ^^ I agree, Zero is quite a low DPS class but as you stated, the mobility, utility and survivability make up for that. It's a fun class for those who are sick and tired of single button DPSers, but it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea

Mihile is low-key really strong. Royal gives invincibility but also a damage reduction buff so you can tank 1-hit ko moves. Stacking Royal Guard also boosts your damage or attack (been a while since I played) and boosts Sword of Light's mobs hit, range, and damage. If you can keep up Royal Guard stacks, Mihile's mobbing is awesome. They're pretty ping dependent like Dawn Warrior though.

the combo meter for aran actually stays for a really long time, it's not a sort of "stop attacking and you lose so much" mechanic as you make it out to be.
Thats how it was when it first came out, so Im guessing he hasnt played aran in a long time

It's been a good few years now, but I remember playing Blaster, is if they still break your fingers, then they've kept it true to it's original form cause good god, the monsters weren't the boss, your keyboard and it's inputs were.

Personally Zero bossing is not that great but I absolutely love the storyline and skills. It is such a fun class to play because of the combo skills. It would be cool if you got a chance to play it and a video.

My first main was Hayato and I didn’t know anything about the game at that time I just went with the flow... bad idea. I still remember the struggle of low damage with him..

Demon avengers end game issues is not really with scalling or funding. Its survive ability, after 5th job they essentially play like a suicide bomber.

This was pretty interesting to look at seeing as i main Blaster and Dawn Warrior
I hate and love Dark Knights at the same time. It is my main since pre-Big Bang (Good ol' Dragon Knight) but I absolutely and wholeheartedly despise Gungnir's Descend as a bossing skill. It just doesn't feel like a "warrior", it's more like a black mage. Your spear, which, let's be honest, has been one of the coolest weapons since the Maple's infancy, you don't even use it. No physical contact whatsoever and I hate that. I find myself spamming the inferior Dark Impale because it the closest we'll ever have to Dragon Buster, an actual stabbing and piecing skill. Plus, like you mentioned, it's quite boring to level up a Dark Knight now, especially with all those flashy animation of the more superior classes. It really saddens me because I know it's the only class I'll ever want to play.
PIRATES NEXT PLEASE. We don't get enough love 💀 and also it'd be easier because there's not many and we can just all laugh about Jett

As a Zero main, I never understand why they are always at the bottom of the PDM chart

I main Zero and they definitely aren't the best boss killers. Alpha is dedicated to being fast and is an efficient map clearer while Beta is a heavy hitter but not very mobile because she focuses on hitting her target hard rather than hitting as many targets as possible. Plus, they aren't unfunded-player-friendly because you need a lot of things to improve their unique weapons, lapis and lazuli, better equipment than pensair, etc.

Can you try power burning level a Paladin on the next burning event? I/L mage is my main, but when I played maplestory on the first time the game got released i chose Paladin because I liked the 3 elements sword. Never got the chance to go past 2 job because it was too hard to lv up after I changed the to mage.

I would never level a hero the only time i would play it is if there was a tera burning other than that i find the class to be the most boring class to play ill play jett before i sit through having to level this class
As a software engineer, the comp sci major analogy is kinda weird. The industry is saturated with new grads but still has a very high demand for talent. Software engineering is one of the few markets where the college degree does very little for your actual ability to do the job

pallies got a 5th job skill thats insane for bursting, that cross thingy shts lines line no tomorrow though, i like the video but u dont take into consideration survivavility, which is essential in end game bosses, at that point it doesnt matter damage or lines, but to survive the boss cuz end game everyone is strong enough to do the boss, is usually the mechanics whats lacking(black mage for example) so a dark knight for example, has like a 40 sec i think? , thats super good, so even if they are a bit weakerl, they are very very good, same thing goes with phantom, everyone trash talks about phantom but guess what, they are really wanted in end game bosses cuz of utility and survivavility, same as shade, those 2 classes are very usefull afaik in black mage eventhough they are weaker than an average class.
And about mihile, well what can i say, its the job instructor of dawn warrior, so in the end it should look similar to dawn warrior =P

I stopped playing back in 2012, I was a level 185 aran main and secondary was my level 180 xenon
Overselling the shit out of Blaster. Sure they are good but nowhere near #1, top 10 at best. So many classes outpace Blaster in DPM (and burst tests) thanks to GMS hard speed cap of 0. Barely get rewarded for investing the time playing this class. DPM charts are way too optimized with theorized APM of 700~, yeah good luck maintaining that mate. Can just unga bunga as a hero with 98% less APM & Effort and do more damage and can mob just as effective...as a hero...mechanically hardest class in the game and they barely outpace a hero at mobbing with btw 98% more effort...
It's truly a class for masochists and how much your love for explosive punches and using a mother fucking pile bunker can keep you motivated.
To add to this, this class has only been bugfixed or nerfed since release while getting 5th job skills.
just a note, Mihile is still Mihile in KMS (pronounced similarly, mi-ha-il)

Aran main here, I find using sticky keys helps immensely! Try turning sticky keys on in windows settings. Then put final blow on shift and beyond blade on a regular key like "d" or "f". With this setup can hold down shift then clicking beyond blade button repeatedly to do the combo. Hope this makes arans more enjoyable for ya. :)

Can someone reply to me...so when talking about stronger.....if my range this is just an example if my high range number is 2million....when u talk about stronger characters than others....does this mean that a character will dish out more damage at 2 million range than let's say a bishop that has 2 million range???
Yep! 2m range bishop does way less than 2m range blaster for example :) (But that's just in a constant)

mid game is 10k stat with that is already enough to solo most bosses in the game including Chaos Root abyss.
Chaos root abyss is now early game. Midgame bosses are Lotus/Damien/Lucid/Will, endgame bosses are Hard Lotus/Damien/Lucid/Will, Verus Hilla, Darknell, etc.
I’d say endgame is 6+trill in 40sec dps test (dmg required for hlucid pt) not everyone has lvl/or party for hlucid or even high enough level for versus Hilla/darknell. But that’s just my 2 cents on it. Also I would consider cra entry level to mid game bossing and nlotus/lucid/Damien being the ceiling cap for mid game

Well...My main is I/L mage. When Maplestory started I picked Warrior and barely levelled it up to 30 and made it a Pally. But I changed to mage beause back then warriors in general were too slow to level up.
It's my favorite class of all time. My first character in 2005 was a page, which turned to white knight and finally Paladin when 4th job came out. I still play as him and Pallys are the best in my biased opinion :D

HP cap is 500k but demon avengers continue to gain damage when going past the HP bar cap.

I knew it's 500k but I was wondering about whenever or not they still gain they more hp percentage they have, but as you said they do.. That's good? I think wiyu said they're not gaining late game advantage because of the cap
