I don't like the industrial feeling in the sound. I don't mind drum machines, not saying that's what's being used here but the guitar sounds as artificial as a drum machine usually would, i don't find that as appealing in music. There are very nice ambient noises. What i find appealing most about musicians like ØysteinEuronymousAarseth, is his playing reminds me of a raging fire or a swarm of locusts or something similar, more organic things. whereas like i said before, this style is more mechanical. Signs of the times.
... yes here are used drum machine (but rhytms which was played by real humans), mechanical bass guitar (i wrote parties on guitar, but i dont have bass to record it) . but guitars are real))) it was recorded even without sound card - just microphone and guitar amp) As in old good times of second wave of BM. Voice also was recorded on the mobile dictophone, but scream parts had shitty distortion (it was guest vocal) so i needed to distort it by myself . and mayhem was good, i agree
