so ive followed this band for a minute and i distinctly remember him (the vocalist) stating in a song "Praying to a god i dont believe in " so i dont know if this song is satiric or if he changed his views regardless atleast the guy speaks his mind and that drummer is unreal

They had metal riffs in 95?
They certainly did - see early Hatebreed or better yet band from Cleveland on Victory called Integrity. Strife, One King Down, Stigmata and even Earth Crisis all playing w/ "metal" riffs in the mid 90's US hardcore scene. Shit Cro-Mags still get labeled a punk-hardcore band and they blended metal as much as you could going back to the mid 80's and "first wave of HC music."
