@Darth Bane no, in the original timeline, she killed herself to escape Shao Kahn, which is really selfish. In the MK9 reboot, she kills herself to put a protective ward over Earthrealm, so Shao Kahn may never invade it, making it more heroic.
@@arsenal4739 but in the reboot she did no such thing since the ward was Quan Chi doing. This made it easier to manipulate Shao Kahn in future and he brainwashed Sindel to prevent the truth getting out
