Drought-plagued ranchers have to sell their cattle at a loss in order to meet mortgage payments to a corrupt banker. To make things worse, the cattle come down with hoof-and-mouth disease. Tex, the sheriff, is thrown into a fracas that pits him against his rancher friends. Is it really hoof-and-mouth disease?

This was a Good Movie! I sure did enjoy it! Good top see Glenn Strange as a Good Guy. That didn't happen Often Enough - yeah, he was a good Bad Guy when he was bad, but I always liked watching him as a good guy!

I'll tell you one of the big differences in cowboy movies from this period to let's say a cowboy movie made with John Wayne back in 19 19 and when they talk about the old west those sons of guns never had mortgages and loans but I'll tell you that's when the West started getting like the rest of the country when everything started getting mortgaged
