HARI KRISHNA EXPORTS ORGANISES PARIVARIK WEDDING FOR 66 COUPLES “Bandhan Snehna - बंधन स्नेहना”.

  • Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. Founder and Chairman Mr. Savji Dholakia played host to mass wedding of 66 couples. He made the 5th and 6th of December, 2015 an extra special occasion of Hari Krishna Parivar “Bandhan Snehna” for the sixty six lucky couples.
    We regard marriage as a socio-religious duty. Organized, sponsored and executed completed by Hari Krishna Business Group, the marriage ceremony and function took place on the lawns of Hari Krishna Campus in Simada-Surat on two consecutive days where all the 66 lucky couples simultaneously exchanged wedding vows.
    "We started the tradition of mass marriage (Samhu Lagan) a few years ago after I got invitations to attend 20 marriages from staff members during marriage season. I thought, instead of people spending separately if they can get married in a single ceremony it would be wonderful and economical," said Savji Dholakiya of Hari Krishna Exports.
    In this Hari Krishna “Bandhan Snehna” function, 66 Grooms Wed girls from different socio-economic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
    Most of the grooms were in their mid to late twenties; most of brides were under twenty eight. Every couple had an individual set up for their wedding priest to carry out their ceremony per customs, traditions, norms and rituals while 50 guest from each side got to witness the vows.
    Dignitaries including Yoga Guru Ramdevji Maharaj, Mantri Shri Nanubhai Vanani, Dy. Gen. Manager of SBI, renowned Author Mr. Jay Vasavda, bankers, social activist, business leaders and diamond industrialists alongside Hari Krishna Business group’s key people, the entire Dholakia family with partners, promoters and their families were present at the Samuh Lagan venue working together in consensus for honoring the couples who took part in the carefully staged celebration.
    Each couple received a grand reception, 100 guest invites for a reception, and a royal truso-kit to embark on their life journey’s together. The truso for each couple comprised of a diamond Mangalsutra, diamond earrings, diamond nose pin, silver anklets, wrist watches, wall clock, alarm clock, kitchen appliances and kitchenware, dinner set, carry-on trolley bag, bed-set, center table, four plastic chairs, bed and bath sets, clothing, blankets, 2 beds, comforter, cardigans, burner-stove, and 12 books on Mahatma Gandhi, the art of living, Bhagwad Geeta, relationship building, professional and personal development.
    While the brides were dressed in traditional red and golden attires, grooms wore traditional sherwanis and turbans. The young brides adorned with garish make-up, received bridal bouquets and special treatment. Likewise, the grooms were given a grand congregational welcome on chariots with music, dance, folk dances and hundreds of participants.
    Each couple received a bridal dress and tuxedo, wedding goodies, photography and videography package, flowers, hair and make-up for the bride, and both participate in various pre-wedding activities.
    One major wedding prepatory workshop was hosted and personally delivered by the Chairman, social activist Mr. Kanjibhai Bhalala, Mr. Shashikant Shah - Life Coach & Author, Mr. Prabhudan Gadhavi, Retd. District Education Officer & Mr. Gaurav Duggal - Family Counselor, USA. All couples participated in a shared marriage commitment, relationship building and partner roles and responsibilities 120 minutes workshop.
    More than 100 employees of Hari Krishna Business Group acted as volunteers to out up and run the two days of gala-wedding-celebrations. No aid or services were outsourced. Professional and highly qualified and skilled officers, diamond artists and diamond engineers worked back stage, front stage, parking, kitchen management, truso arrangements, ground maintenance, event coordination, logistics, safety and security, guest services, multimedia and lighting, and so on.
