Recipe:
14-16 graham crackers
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1. Using a half sheet pan lined with foil or parchment paper, arrange crackers side by side in a single layer. Break off smaller pieces if you have to.
2. In a saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar and salt. Boil for 2 minutes.
3. Pour the sugar mixture all over the crackers and spread in an even layer.
4. Bake in the oven at 350°F for 6 to 7 minutes. It will be very bubbly.
5. Take it out of the oven and immediately sprinkle on the chocolate. Let it sit for a few minutes to let it melt. Then spread evenly over the crackers.
6. Sprinkle on the chopped pecans.
7. Put into the refrigerator to set fast. Then break up into smaller pieces with your hands or cut with a knife. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.

Can you make this with saltine crackers? and come like yours. 👍because it looks so good! I made a cake recipe called Better than any thing cake it was so easy to make that 😋 I eat the whole thing. So I might do the same with this Say yessss!!!

I only have Triscuits in the house. Would these work in this recipe or are they too thick?
It would probably work but I've never used it before so can't comment on the taste! Lol
I never tried it with graham cracker
I've only made it with graham crackers then sprinkle toasted sliced almonds on top, and they always disappear very quickly! I'm going to try the recipes I've seen in youtube with the saltine crackers to see if there is a big difference in taste.
