My tips to add on to Aaron’s Buy 3 large bottles of pedialyte/electrolit/prime/Gatorade and drink them before you leave to the festival to beat hydration early, and then buy water at the fest (free water lines sometimes get too long and you’re required to have a bottle or water pack on you to get water in the first place, also don’t guarantee you catching the Capri sun water they throw in the crowd) If you’re only there to be in pits, wear close toed shoes that are good and comfy on your feet (vans, converse chuck 70s, and other sneakers are not it) Have a meeting point with your friends in case y’all get lost for after the festival so you can meet up and know you’re all safe, because later at night you will not have any cell service. Ubers are VERY hard to get out at these fests because service will be clogged and there will be road closures, so you need to walk a little bit to somewhere far from the festival location and order an Uber from a distance (especially in Miami and LA, where public transport isn’t really a thing) Plan your set times out through the app because you will get notifications 15 minutes before the next set you wanna see, and it won’t use service so it will notify you even when it gets late. Don’t be afraid to talk to strangers at festivals! A lot of people at fests are really nice and I’ve met great people at rolling Loud who I still hang out with If you have an iPhone, download Berkanen. Sneaking it in is easy. Have it rolled up and put it in your boxers. That’s what I do. They won’t care about your lighter or carts but I keep it in my boxers
Also, do NOT ever take drugs from ANYONE you don't know at any show you go to fam. (also if you're scared, gtfo)
