I presume instead of giving 42'' she has by mistake given 24''. I am trying to stitch the bag since it is sturdy and good but got the handle wrong. I changed it to 42'' . However it is a very good tutorial better than many others. I always come back to this channel for learning tq for your patient and detailed information.
Where do you find such beautiful fabric? Live watching your quick right to the point video. I hate to see videos where people have kids yelling and pets all over the place. Your videos are right to the point. Easy to follow
I’ve seen these types of fabric at the quilt section at Joann’s Fabrics. Or at a quilt boutiques. Hope you’ll find something to your liking!

The handle length listed is incorrect. I’m guessing the length should be doubled as to the 24” listed.

It's not available where I live I would have to order it from Amazon. If I know the exact brand or type then I could order and attempt your beautiful bag. This creator appears to be in India, so they may have different options there. What she uses could be a medium-weight fusible interfacing. I live in Canada and I have never heard of interfacing canvas either.

the handles are way to short and i’ve already cut and made them. and ideas how to fix this and still make it work
I just discovered the same thing! 24 inch handles are way too short!
Cut another set and sew the two short ends together (for each strap). Then continue as before with the sewing instructions.
*** update, I made my handles 37 inches or 94cm long. This worked great.

You put the measurements for the handles as 60cm/24", but that cant be right. The side panel is 16 up and 16 down, that's 32" with NO handle. How much extra or what is true measurement.
I am in process of marking and pinning and I'm gonna have to make up something on the handle length...
Please put a note in for others, they may not have extra material to cut out extra handles.
Too late for me. I have just found out that the handles are far too short at 24 inches.

Estoy haciendo éste hermoso bolso, ya preparé los tirantes con las mismas medidas de 24" por 4" inches, y al querer pagarlos a la parte delantera quedaron demasiado corto 😢. Perdí tela y tiempo 😮

I am making this right now. The handle is too short for what it shows in the picture(video). The bag is bigger than it looks. Either the main fabric has a different measurement OR the handle is longer than what she showed in the measurements. I will have to make modifications now and shortening the main fabric or making a longer handle which is a bummer because I used all the fabric I had for this kind of bag. Sad.

That tutor should make corrections on her video. It led me to make this bag and incurred the expenses only to be a mistake. I trusted her tutorial to be good, but obviously not all the time. It makes one wonders if all tutors are like that. Hmmm.
