You can try for CA Inter if you want to. But you have to understand that the level will be much higher than CA Foundation. And then there's CA Final. So you need to think clearly whether you're really up for it or not. And if you are, then study seriously with tuition. If you try and fail, or even during tuition you realise that it's too tough or not interesting, then you can quit. There's no harm in it. That's better than getting stuck in it. If you want to focus on some other options like CS (for which you cleared the entrance I believe), that's also good.
In stateboard school; my background was pcbm. I got 75% main subjects in maths and physics. So i didn't enter into archietecture course. I gave CA foundation (it was cpt) during my graduation course 2016-2017 my total score was 14; 5; 9 and then i changed to direct entry route ... many auditors not willing to hire me for articleship. But somehow i entered articleship under auditor who is in local. Due to my financial unstability background i gave up articleship of stipend rs.1500 per month. I was simply in my home but still i opened ca accounts book solve book back problems only . I went depression cause i thought without CA my life end. After covid i went to nearby office to get experience on working excel sheet. But i expected i get learned taxes as well. But bcz of my ug qualification bba general and long gab betwn work. They hesitate to teach me. They mistreated me. Again i felt guilty. I want to earn more and walk around with dignity. But mu skills and education knowledge are too low. Not good speaking english like professional. I feel numb all my 28 yrs. Now i got feeling to study again CA foundation and then CA inter ..can i do it? If i clear CA foundation inter I would go to do articleship in a firm. .. if my decision wrong can you suggest any other option equalent to CA. Now i have found affordable sources in youtube as well. Pls tellme. I don't want to live poor
Hi, I'm really sorry to hear about what has happened. I don't think CA is a good option for you since it is very time-consuming even if you clear everything on the first attempt and not very easy. Plus, the salary after multiple attempts isn't good. You could consider CPA, ACCA or CFA. However, you need to have decent English for these since these are foreign degrees. MBA could be a good option. Your English is decent based on your texts, and you can improve it by studying for CAT. You can take a loan for the college fees if you need to. Till you decide on that, you can try to find a job. You are a graduate, so that would help. If you can't find work in a big company then maybe a startup could work. Another option could be to learn some skills like building websites on WordPress, designing UI/UX, video editing, etc. These don't require any degree and these are very valuable in today's time. Many people work as freelancers for a living. And you can start learning through CZcams. @AnshMehra has a great channel for UI/UX and other skills like video editing. Also, I don't know everything about every other option out there. @Careers360 specialise in this thing. Their founder is also a CA. You can check out their channel and get guidance from them. Whatever you decide to do, remember that hard work is unavoidable (most freelancers don't make much, but the ones who are good make more than CAs). Also, many people are not good at academics but they're earning better than highly qualified people. If you're not good at academics, doing something else which you might be good at is a better bet. And most importantly, you need to know when to fold a hand. Just because you've spent so much time in CA doesn't mean that you should waste more time in it. It's not like CA nahi bane to failure ho for life. Failure is an event, not the person. I failed in my startup. I spent a lot of money and time on it and it wasn't going anywhere. It was not easy to quit it, I was dragging it for quite a few months. But if I hadn't folded in time, I wouldn't have made this and other videos on CZcams and grown my channel by 30% in a month. But you make small errors like "but could you", where the sentence should start with a capital letter, or using ";" instead of a comma. It's just small things. One thing you can try is using the Grammarly plugin on your phone or laptop so that whenever you write something on the internet, it'll give you suggestions to improve. Writing a blog regularly or just something on LinkedIn with that plugin will help. I use that plugin too by the way. And please don't call me sir. I'm not a teacher and I'm also younger than you.
Even average students clear CA in first attempts and even toppers fail and quit. It’s all about commitment and consistency. Do 100% syllabus, focus on institute’s material and questions, give mock tests and aim for exemptions. That’s the same plan which is followed by rank holders in all courses.

1-2 Attempts in Foundation won't matter if you do well in Inter or Final, so don't worry. If you seriously lack time and can't study Economics within a month, you can think of deferring your attempt. But I don't think that'll be very wise for Foundation. That's just my opinion.

After graduation I decided to persue MBA from chandigarh groups of college but I fell sick and came back. Now I'm thinking of starting CA again but parents are suggesting me to go with government job exams.
All the courses that you're thinking of, CA, UPSC & CAT, have very high competition. You need to think about what you want to do in your life, and what are your strengths, then choose accordingly. There's a high chance of failure in all these courses. It doesn't matter if you fail, what matters is if you can persevere. Also, I did CFA Level 1 for knowledge and backup with CA. You can also choose some other course to do on the side if you want.

If you ask me whether you can become a CA or not, you can. Provided you learn from your mistakes over time and are committed to work hard. There's no harm in quitting. Rather, it is better to quit. Nothing is more valuable than your mental health. I tried my hand at a startup and it was just a waste of money and time after I couldn't find a cofounder. It wasn't easy to quit, I had invested so much time and money in it. But I was guilty of the sunk cost fallacy for a few months. Jo ho chuka uska mat socho, aage ka socho. Take a break, relax. Many people who quit CA are very successful and also very happy. You could explore other options for academics like CFA, MBA, CFP, FRM, ACET, NISM, etc. if you're good at studies. You could also explore skills like video editing, UI/UX design, script writing, coding, WordPress, etc. which are very valuable today. And then there's business. You could do any type of business, including content creation. There are many options in the world. I implore you to try your hands at a lot of different things so that you'll find something you like.

If you want to try it, there's no harm in it. Try going for Foundation and then Inter. If it seems too tough then leave it. If you don't want to try, that's also good. You can go through the prospectus to learn more about it and check out other courses as well.
Regular college is always recommended. I used to take tuition near my college in the morning for this reason. You could also go for a PG for a few months. Btw, isn't Gargi an all-women college?

You could also skip college classes at times, which is what I did. I would still recommend you to go to college. If you think that it's impossible to manage then you can quit college.

That's not true. CA is not everything in the world. If you can clear CA then great! But even non-CAs have a great life and in many cases, they have better packages than CAs. There's no point in getting stuck here forever. It's better to do something else that's more suited to one's capabilities.

Different people have different reasons. My dad was a CA and he wanted me to become a CA. He had a very good knowledge of equity investing and seeing that Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was also a CA, I decided in class 11th or 12th that CA is final. That was my reason. Incidentally, accounting wasn't my favourite either. You can check out the course details on ICAI's website, watch the video linked in the end screen of this one and compare other options with CA. If you do go for it, do it with a regular college.
You can go for some other course which is better suited to your calibre and be happier. You could also persevere, but the chances of success in that case are slim.
No, but if you're doing regular college then you'll have to wait for your college to be over before you start your articleship. College does add to your CV and helps in getting articleship in a Big 4 (and also a good job after qualification). So please go to a regular college.

Take a break, relax. Many people who quit CA are very successful and also very happy.
You could explore other options for academics like CFA, MBA, CFP, FRM, ACET, NISM, etc. if you're good at studies.
You could also explore skills like video editing, UI/UX design, script writing, coding, WordPress, etc. which are very valuable today.
And then there's business. You could do any type of business, including content creation.
There are many options in the world. I implore you to try your hands at a lot of different things so that you'll find something you like.
It's completely fine u can join a corporate job and can pursue other foreign courses like ACCA and US CMA .
Sir I'm a bcom graduate I'm thinking to study CA... But at the same time some negative thoughts are also coming in my mind as this cource is very difficult and vast and also time consuming🥲 would you recommend what would be better for me
If you want to try it, there's no harm in it. Try going for Foundation and then Inter. If it seems too tough then leave it. If you don't want to try, that's also good.

Travel time is 1.5hr
Regular college is always recommended. I used to take tuition near my college in the morning for this reason. You could also go for a PG for a few months.

@@ShubhamSingh-ly9dx You could try it out and see if you're able to manage it. I used to study while travelling in Metro for CFA level 1. Maybe you could do something like that to be more effective.
You could also skip college classes at times, which is what I did.
I would still recommend you to go to college. If you think that it's impossible to manage then you can quit college.

No, multiple attempts will affect your initial placements. After that, your work experience will count.

That's not true. CA is not everything in the world.
If you can clear CA then great! But even non-CAs have a great life and in many cases, they have better packages than CAs.
There's no point in getting stuck here forever. It's better to do something else that's more suited to one's capabilities.

Who should do CA?? Subject interest matters? specially accounts because I don't like account too much
Different people have different reasons. My dad was a CA and he wanted me to become a CA. He had a very good knowledge of equity investing and seeing that Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was also a CA, I decided in class 11th or 12th that CA is final. That was my reason. Incidentally, accounting wasn't my favourite either.
You can check out the course details on ICAI's website, watch the video linked in the end screen of this one and compare other options with CA.
If you do go for it, do it with a regular college.

You can go for some other course which is better suited to your calibre and be happier. You could also persevere, but the chances of success in that case are slim.

No, but if you're doing regular college then you'll have to wait for your college to be over before you start your articleship.
College does add to your CV and helps in getting articleship in a Big 4 (and also a good job after qualification).
So please go to a regular college.
