Myanmar officials said most of the 700 migrants found adrift on a boat in its waters a week ago identified themselves as Bangladeshi, after they were driven to a camp near the border.

After independence Burma in 1948,
50,000 Muslims are Burmese citizens in 4 border townships in Arakan ( Rakhine).in Burma in 1949.
Muslims ( locals and immigrants).did not settle at border villages but they lived mostly in commercial important District ( Akyab ) where present day Sittwe district and Mrauk U District are.
Present border townships in Rakhine state with bangldesh and India were small villages under the British rule in Arakan hill track district of Arakan division till 1931-1941.
Even small ButhiDaung Town had 3193 residents whi were local Buddhists ( 40%) and Muslim settlers ( Chittagong + Bengali immigrants ) 60% in 1953.

A Rakhine population killed at least 25,000 Rohingya people and perpetrated gang rapes and other forms of sexual violence against 18,000 Rohingya innocent women and girls. They estimated that 116,000 Rohingya were beaten, and 36,000 were thrown into fires.
United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights declared that Burmese military generals will fully done genocide against Muslim minority in the Myanmar which further develop crisis in the region and generate causes of massive migration to east in order to save the life being refuge left their home land and property stranded in Myanmar.
The International Court of Justice? ordered Myanmar to prevent genocidal violence against its Mayammar Muslim minority, they have evidence to establish a case for further legal proceeding but due to political and strategic attachment the conflict did not resolve so far woman and children being victimised and losing innocent life.
