Wow. I played death wish and I haven’t even beat it normally. Congrats on doing this without jumping! Too bad we can’t beat death wish fully without a single jump. Thanks for the video, maybe I’ll do this challenge once I complete death wish normally. Pecking wound up windmill is legit harder then seal the deal imo.
Late but thank you! It's bittersweet we come so close but so far but it's otherwise a very fun challenge that rewards creativity.

@@midourimiri for the 10 seconds to self destruct try doing it with a maximum of 2 times going backwards I calculated its possible and did it anyway
I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I like it with the commentary, it makes it actually feel like a real person is playing the game.
Edit: Well, I finished the video, and that was amazing. Now, try Hat Kid Steals the Declaration of Independence without jumping.

Nope! The only thing it does in Death Wish is make the brewer hat brew a bomb faster (twice as fast?), at the cost of an extended cooldown (50% slower) before being able to make another bomb

Damn, the amount of Stamps you got jumpless is the same as I’ve gotten period lol
(Haven’t been able to get the bonuses for Boss Rush, haven’t been able to get anything on No More Bad Guys and Crusin for a Brusin’, or even unlock Seal the Deal)
You can do the Wound-Up Windmill and 10 seconds until self destruct stamps you said were impossible with a glitch. If you never hit the trigger that initiates the challenge, you can simply put on the 1-Hit Hero badge at the end and it will give you the stamp.
In 10 seconds until self destruct its easy, the trigger doesn't work, at least in later patches (dlc2) not sure about earlier patches. So simply put on the 1-Hit Hero Badge at the end before getting the timepiece and you did it succesfully
In Wound-Up Windmill its harder to avoid the trigger but I tested it and you can without jumping reach the bell from outside the windmill at the beginning. After that you do a tight ice hat dive to go around the trigger by the door that the bell unlocks and from there you have gotten in, without starting the timer or initiated the check for wether you have 1-hit-hero. After that you do the rest of the level as you mentioned.
Very good video btw, good job (as a speedrunner it was funny at times seeing you do hard stuff that I knew you could do way easier tho ngl LOL)

@@nyxx190 As I explained the triggers for the 1 hit hero (which includes no hat) bonus does not work in 10 minutes to self destruct and can be avoided in Wound-Up-Windmill.
So both are achievable that way

I didn't even tho you could beat this without jumping
I found a way to get off of tightropes without jumping, so if you can make it onto the tree in the mafia of cooks rift then that part is slightly easier
There is a glitch in 10 seconds until self destruct where you died with one-hit-hero, then when the game reloads to respond you you take it off, and finish the level with out hat use but that might not work if you are only using hat abilities.
Encore Encore is a bit easier with the projectile badge. You can hit him everywhere except on top of the ball.

Trick for Cruisin' for a bruisin', if you use assist mode it makes so you only have to do a max of 1-3 tasks at a time, and all you have to do for the bonuses to count is turn assist mode off before doing the 40th task without fail. turn it back on, then continue and turn it off again before doing the 70th task. and it counts
also in addition for seal the deal, p&t never appears for that death wish as its supposed to be the death wish finale. assist mode helps and could probably be used to get through the ceiling lights phase
using assist mode is against the rules of this, though...

@@TheLudicrousLuv maybe! who knows. could be an interesting brain stretcher and it has been a while since i played the game (since this video basically). We'll see.
9 months late, but i imagine doing a minimalist run for snatcher EX+ would require large RNG to figure out the exact minimum amount of jumps required
do you have any tips for the speedrun level, speedrun well. I have been stuck on it for a while
biggest tip would be to not climb it traditionally. You want to use the hookshots to swing you to other hookshots, rather than climbing the wooden planks. This will get you very far very fast.
(you can go to the very edge and use ur dive cancel thing to bypass that lamp bit thingy)

if you activate and deactivate the scooter you get more high then the ice hat
I haven't played Ahit in a while but iirc you cannot air dive or wall climb via scooter cancelling. Plus I believe a Max Height is still higher than a scooter

Why is bow kid rainbow during the illness has speedruns level? As well as the after images in the following rift section.unless they are cosmetic mods.
Also, I think you CAN beat death wish. When the minions spawn, you can hug the inner border and they will never hit you. Just run around while still hugging the inner border and you'll probably win.
rainbow is a cosmetic mod. i dont recall after-images though.
As for hugging the wall, you can't in the final fight in Seal the Deal. The minion attack has shockwaves going the whole time that you cant avoid without the fruit. and the fruit locks you into a singular spot where then the falling stage lights can attack you and kill you quickly.
Unless a new update removed the shockwaves that I am not aware of (i havent played the game since this video basically)
@@midourimiri huh. Last time I checked, the other 2 easier snatcher fights can be beaten jumpless... I think. I know I've beaten the original snatcher fight by hugging the wall and jumping. Same with the EX fight. Maybe it's not possible with the death wish version. I'll have to try it sometime.
@@beatziegraham6928 correct. The first can be beaten jumpless simply by hugging the inner wall.
You cannot do this on EITHER Death Wish versions because the minion attack causes shockwaves that will hit you if you are on the ground. For the 1st Death Wish variation we solve this by standing atop the fruit as you see in this video, which gives you barely enough height to avoid the shockwave hitboxes.
However, the third and final Snatcher fight not only has the shockwaves, but it also adds raining lights into your location, which makes standing on the fruit impossible lest you get hit by the raining lights, removing your only means to avoiding damage
